the fight with robin reid is being moved back a week so he knows the result of joe - kessler going into the fight...
“The so-called two best super-middleweights in the world fight in Cardiff on 3rd November but a week later less than a couple hundred miles away there will be a boxer in action who can take the pair of them out,” said Froch.
what? robin reid can't take the pair of em out ;)

I like the mouth on Frock but he needs to start stepping up now and taking on real contenders.

Im torn to whether I actually want to see Calzaghe fight Froch.
On the one hand I dont want him to because it would be a waste of time for Joe and I dont want Froch to get a big payday.
On the other hand id love to see Joe fight him just so he could smash his teeth in and Froch would stfu.

He's been offered the Calzaghe fight and turned It down.
Hennessy and Froch are staling hoping Calzaghe wins and moves to Light Heavy and pretend that he ducked Carl.

NO sane person believes Froch has any chance against Joe or Mikkel. His only chance is being awkward and landing big but for the life of me I can't see that winning.

Kohl (Universum) hopes that Calzaghe wins so that Brähmer and Inkin can compete for different vacant titles.

Ried is a good name for Froch to beat. Reid may be well passed it but apart from two or three top liners such as Mundine and Inkin most super middles are still below Reid's level and Froch is already well placed in the rankings to be the winner of kes and calzaghe fight.
I do not him talking shit all the time as long as he keeps winning and although he would be the underdog if put in with any of the above mentioned fighters he has always got a chance due to his decent punching.

They will go for different titles but - you're right - it won't be the WBC.

Froch is such a non-concern in the division still. He pussies around, calling out Calzaghe for years while never actively doing anything to justify it.
Does anyone really think he can beat either Joe or Kessler?
Froch does talk too much for my liking, especially when you consider what he has achieved or hasn't should we say? Froch seems very big for 168lbs & hits hard. If he were to land flush on Calzaghe, Kessler, anyone in the SMW division, I reckon they would be go.
Being able to land flush on the likes of Calzaghe, Kessler is an entriely different proposition though. Froch is nearly 30, so he needs to buckle down & get cracking. I can't see Calzaghe fighting Froch, especailly if he beats Kessler. It'll be onwards & upwards from there for Joe, with more lucrative fights out there.
I think Carl has a better hope of facing Kessler. Mikkel is youngwer than Froch, well-establoshed in the division, & if victorious against Calzaghe, may decided it's right to take on Froch.

Froch is a joker. He is undoubtedly gifted but he does nothing but talk. If he was so desperate for a shot a Calzaghe he should have fought some top guys and forced his way into contention. He can sit around all day saying that he's the best ever but until he actually makes an effort to prove that it'll be bullshit.

Froch is a fool, he talks big and then doesn't follow it through, i hope nobody fights him and he has to fight small time fights and never gets a big payday.
I like Froch, he seems to have a twinkle in his eye when he says all this and actually talks a lot of sense in interviews when he is not grandstanding.
He is taking the best fights he can and it will be interesting to see how he handles Reid. Robin is not the fighter he once was but he is still a good measuring stick.

He was nice enough in person...but he needs to get a fucking move on, he has been stuck in a rut and has not stepped up his comp since Magee. Reid was shot when he fought Ottke, he was beyond shot when he faced Lacy and god only knows what that makes him now.
A pointless no win situation for Froch who is not a young fighter. He needs to step it up and soon.

Hes always been a dick. All mouth, cant even remember the last time the fella fought, Ried is a has been now and beating him proves nothing. Waiting so long before fights doesnt help either, he cant spout off about Calzaghe when Joe has a fight for undisputed title coming up.
Talking only gets you so far, ive been saying it for years, step up froch ya getting boring!

I wouldn't be suprised If Reid makes It a close fight though. McCracken hasn't taught Froch shit.
Froch gets overrated because of his punch and chin but he's only won two domestic belts. Even Dodson before the body shot was troubling him.

Froch is acting the pantomime villain like Eubank did and judging by the ammount of people who want to see him lose, I'd say he's doing it very well. It doesn't matter to the TV stations if you tune in to see him win or lose, as long as you do tune in.

If Froch really wanted a title fight, why didn't he fight Bute in an IBF eliminator then? As far as I recall he was offered the shot before Bika but turned it down, and now Bute is fighting Berrio this month for the IBF title. I guess Froch, or at least his handlers, knew he would lose to Bute and thereby blow a big payday against either Calzaghe or Kessler.:yep
The guy is 85% mouth and is only surpassed by Mundine in that department, but Mundine has at least stepped up a couple of times.
