Of the next generation - 25 and under - Paul Smith actually stands out.
Just from boxrec Kenny Anderson has made a good start and Scott Belshaw. No-one else leaps from the page.
So who have you seen and has impressed you?

Tony Bellew's on the Khan show tonight, hope he does well.

i was hoping they'd show highlights of his fight but with the show only being 90 minutes long, I think they'll only show khan-lawton and pryce-concepcion...
unless both fights end early.

unless both fights end early.How much of the 90 minutes do you think will be actual boxing? After the adverts, news, weather, more adverts and endless billshit from that twat Jim Rosenthal, we''ll be lucky to get 20 mins of action.

sounded like he had a good debut...
from FWs site;
"Tony Bellew made an impressive debut in Nottingham with a second round victory over Jamie Ambler.
Even a last-minute change of gloves, which occured when Bellew was already in the ring, couldn't put him off his stride.
The two-time ABA champion, who goes by the nickname of The Bomber, forced Ambler to take a count within the first minute of the fight.
He trapped him in a neutral corner before catching him with a right hand.
In the second round, Bellew backed Ambler on to the ropes and landed around 20 unanswered shots, forcing the intervention of the referee.
The 23-year-old is hoping to follow in the footsteps of John Conteh, another light-heavyweight from Liverpool, who won British, Commonwealth, European and world titles."

It's very impressive that Salem beat Paul David in only his second bout , in David's 2 fights since then he has beaten Peter Haymer(former English Light-Heavy champ and Commonwealth title contender) and Andrew Lowe(former South Area Light-Heavy champ and British+Commonwealth title contender) .

Smith & Bellew discussed back in 2007.
At the time I had my eye on Scott Belshaw as a contender.
