I was watching him in last years Brit ABA's yesterday actually. He's got the basics down to a tee and has got a nice tight guard and knows how to counter over the top of it. It doesn't look like he has much power though and he isn't especially fast.
I've not seen him box as a pro yet so I can't pass judgement but going by his amateur performances you'd think he could go on to win a british title.

Words from my mouth.
Watched him box in Liverpool in British ABA's last year and he really looked the part (that was on Setanta too - sob). At the time I thought he looked pretty solid and with a good style to turn over. But not yet seen him at pro.
From that same bill I thought Gamal Yafai and Andrew Wyn-Jones both looked good (to be fair and Ross Henderson who lost to Wyn-Jones). Really good standard that night.
I've lost touch a little with the ams since that night, anyone know what the others are up to?
