I've only seen Alexander against Witter and Witter was pretty shit that night. Just didn't turn up. Don't know what to make of Devon but the Yanks are hyping him up, more than they did Bradley.

No Mas, another prediction disaster from you

I'm picking Alexander SD. Possibly UD but he will not stop Urango IMO. Man's a fucking beast.

Bit of a tight one to call, but I'd go with Alexander. Urango is really rough around the edges, I think Devon will control him well enough.

I see Alexander following Berto's blueprint against Urango. I don't see great ability in Alexander but he's got decent fundamentals.

Urango is very imposing and it be very interesting to see how Devon deals with non stop pressure. Urango is such a strange fighter..i'm never to sure what to expect from him.

I think Alexander will have to use footwork and angles to win this. I'm 50/50...i lean slightly towards Alexander on a wide ud.

I think Alexander will win a fairly comfortable unanimous decision. Urango is a monster at 140, he hits hard and has a granite chin, but i think he can be outboxed.

All I've seen Alexander do so far is beat an out of sorts Witter so I'm going with Urango.

Alexander UD.

Urango i think will be too strong. From what i have seen of Alexander he was a come forward counter puncher a style i don't think will trouble Urango. He also tries to tie a fighter up a lot when they get inside but he wasn't that good at it i think Urango will really boss him around on the inside.

Alexander could be a lot different come this fight as Mandana says he will probably have a new style for this fight.

I'll go Urango TKO

I think Urango is being underrated.

His two losses are to Hatton (albeit an out of sorts one) and Berto up at 147..... though in terms of quality wins he is quite thin on the ground.

Likewise Alexander only really has the win over a faded, 35y/o Witter, so as for his ability, who knows?

I'd tentatively pick Urango TKO.... whilst behind on the cards.

Too be fair mate I dont think a Urango win is off the cards at all. I'm actually withdrawing my Alexander pick and choosing a Urango TKO/Alexander UD draw

Backed Urango at 3/1, given how little is known about how good Alexander really is its worth a punt given Urango is a tough customer.

I pick Alexander, has the tools to keep Urango off balance and counter him down the middle.

His two losses also where from two fighters that knew how to spoil his inside work, I don't think Alexander will be able to tie him up and stop his bodywork.

Fucking chicken :rofl

Urango won't outbox Alexander so can't win on points.....

Alexander wouldn't KO Urango in a million years so leave that....

But pick everything else :nut

Can't do that :bart

Theres still a lot of unanswed questions about Alexander. His chin, his stamina, how he handles pressure etc. at least you know what you are getting with Urango.

Word has it that Urango has lost his desire.

I've anaylsed this fight. Alexander definitly has the skillset as a sharp shooter to catch urango at long range & as Urango comes in. After catching him he has the tools to spin off Urango and into safety - Urango cannot hit a moving target and Alexander boxes best with perpetual motion.

Alexander looks to have an at least decent chin and stamina. I think it will hold up.

I know for a fact Fleaman thinks Urango will destroy Alexander.

Spot on imo. Urango plods moving his shoulders looking imposing but really he doesn't like movement. He absolutely hates it. He doesn't know what to do..he just stalks the opponent.

When he did get close to Berto he didn't wanna work and from what i seen of Alexander he seems to have a team who work on tactical side of boxing. There's plenty of ???? over Alexander but stylistically it's his fight to win let's see if he has attributes of a true champion.

Urango is easily tied up on the inside, he is also a cunt in the way he gets inside. Flea actually pointed this out. He uses his big winging hooks to set up cheeky little short sharp shots that are brutal.

Alexander NEEDS to stick to a disciplined gameplan. Infact I have written an article for a respected website, detailing what both guys need to do to win, should be going up shortly

whats the undercard like?

Going for Alexander UD, probably something like 117-111 on the cards.

EDIT- Greg, any chance you could elaborate on that journo saying Urango has lost his desire? Has he been neglecting training?

Urango struggles with lateral moverment. Look for Alexander to do the same as Berto did. Walk to a UD.

Aye, no problem.

Kevin said he was at the pre-fight media thing and after hearing all the talk, and all that and Im sure he spoke to Urango. Well anyway. He says he felt Urango was just happy to be there and was just looking for the money and didnt seem to want to win the fight.

Alexander UD, looking forward to this fight the winner becomes the holder of both IBF/WBC titles and can really go on and make top fights at 140.

I'm pretty confident this will be Alexander's coming out party. You could say Witter was that but it turned into a bit of a damp squib thanks to Junior. Urango is a strong, dangerous fighter but I think Alexander will outclass him.

I think anybody at that level with fast hands and a strong chin beats Urango , Khan , Paulie , Bradley , Peterson they all beat him purely by boxing him .
