This is complete rubbish and BoxRec News were wrong to publish without corroboration. I'll have an interview with Pryce up within the next hour or so.

The reporter spoke to one of the fighters. He and perhaps his promoter have jumped the gun leading to what now is an inaccurate tale - which will be clarified.

FWIW... and its a funny old game is boxing.... And I get bits of information hear and there- negotiations are further along then that. Its a 12 rounder. I'm not going to make it up- thats what i've been told. Not sure why i'd be told anything that wasn't true- perhaps Pryce has an agenda for not acknowleging the fight, or perhaps my info is incorrect. Either way the next few weeks should privide us with an answer. :good

I think there's some confusion here... I got banned for posting links on here to the BN site and as I work for the site I don't do it anymore as, to be fair, it's kind of advertising. Rob got banned for the same thing but I have no idea why as he dsnt work for us but, as someone mentioned to me, if Eastside want to ban him that's their prerogative. So basically if you want to read it go to our site and it's the top Feature story. If I was allowed of course I'd post the link but I'm not and I respect that.

They began to take the links down and replace them with the entire article WITHOUT a credit to say where it came from – highly illegal. We kindly asked them to not post the entire article, just post the link and a few lines but they wdnt have it and instead put the above (untrue) statement out. That's life.

Anyway, there are legal fair use policies when quoting in service of another story. I'm not really sure BN (if they did ask for that, which it appears they didn't) could enforce that.

You agreed to stop posting links, yes. You then immediately did another one, cheekily calling it 'a leaving present'. Then 'other people' (coincidentally other writers from your site - wow!) started posting links too.

You were spamming BoxRec (linking to everything you published) and when it was pointed out, you even said you were expecting the message.

Tell you what - start your own forum on BN. It's a piece of piss. It'll get you more traffic too, surely - isn't that what you want? When you get the same traffic as BoxRec and Eastside, we'll all do reciprocal links. Then that's fair. Isn't it?
