Hehe he is still well ranked.

Hehe he is still well ranked.

Yes, and he is also good, but it would be nice if he started to step it up more seriously so that we could see how good he is. A lot of people thought Oganov was a real killer for instance and what happened to him when he stepped it up slightly?

Well, at least they would be better than Manfredo. I still maintain that a fight against either Braehmer, Inkin or Froch would be the right fight if it should be labelled as an eliminator fight.

Now this guy has bombs in those hands!!, he puts the pressure on that's for sure and he's not bad with the combinations too, he'll be fighting for a belt soon imo.

Pascal/Miranda looks like Hagler/Hearns II on paper, and i want to see this fight happen...also i think Green should try to avenge his loss to Miranda...

I see him fight someone like Tsypko or Hanshaw, maybe both. Then he might get his chance in an all-Canadian showdown vs. soon to be IBF champion Lucien Bute...squeezing alot of money out of the Canadian pubic...

Don't tel me that Miranda would be Hagler in this bout - he is nowhere near to the technical level this legend was...

So what would people think of a fight between him and Bute or even Pavlik?, i saw Pascal fight some tall African guy ealier this year (i can't remember the name) and i was impressed with how he put on the pressure and handled the height and range difference, i think he won it be tko in the end.

i really think Pascal should start facing better opponents he showed than he can knock camou who did the limit with hanshaw.Being well ranked he should some top 15 fighter to prepare him for a vacant titleor a eliminator. But hes still young 24 but has to step it up

Calzaghe, Lacy and Kessler all became world champs at age 25 at SMW.;)

neither one of them would be Hagler, or Hearns for that matter...but the fireworks could be like how Hagler/Hearns was...

Not at the rate he is going. Which champ do you think he will beat? Or do you think he will pick up a vacant title?

i've seen pascal fight on FNF, quick hands and feet. i dont know if he's ready for green though. he seemed to careless on fnf jumping in/out ala rjj, only difference was that he was getting tagged (dont take mu word for it though, thats was a couple of months ago, so my memory's not to fresh).

if he's ready for Green? wtf has Green beat to become this monster? Green is nothing more than a contender for Calzaghe's belt, just like Pascal...he's a good one, but let's not talk like Green is the Incredible Hulk...

Pascal has speed, he has power, but what he doesn't have is technique.

A lot of people thought Oganov was a real killer for instance and what happened to him when he stepped it up slightly?well it was a odd fight oganov seemed to be there to beat the guy up then left hook and:dead ...then get up and left hook and :dead ....then get up ECT.

funny/shocking to see a guy with a amzingly padded record get brutally stopped

Pascal looks great. I can't wait to see him fight Green, Miranda or the fight all of Canada is waiting for Bute.

Pascal has to work on his technique before facing a bigger name. He has only been boxing full time for a year now :patsch.

He looked good in this fight but he didnt impressed me on his last two fights. No workrate, no combinaison, no angle, wide punches.

The potential is there, he just need to develop it. :good

The Sweetness would put Pascal to a deep sleep.

Are you working for the guy?:p If so you don't do a very good job of convincing anybody and neither does "Sweetness" himself.

I don't need to convince anybody foo. Green's actions will speak for itself in the future. It's not my concern if people can't recognize a true talent when they see one...

BTW In the begining of this year, I made a post saying that Jean PAScal is a very good prospect and that he has a bright future but nobody took it seriously... So how come so many peple are putting him on the pedestal now?

The Sweetness would back em up with his jab and surprise him with a jab, right hand, to the left hook combo and put him out.

The Sweetness

First, can we please drop this Sweetness-crap and call the man by the name his parents gave him? And please, don't try to go all hood on me with this foo-garbage?
Second, I'm sure Green will look like a million dollars beating up a nobody like Sherwin Davis. I'll surely be sold after this fight.:yep
Third, I have never said that Pascal was not a good prospect so it looks like we actually agree on something, and I would definately favour Pascal against Green, just too bad Green doesn't dare face him.;)
I will give you this though, I think Green would beat Miranda if they had a rematch at 168.
Finally, why did you sign your post, The Sweetness?:huh

10-12-2007, 09:32 PM
 Im not trying to go hood on you man, I wouldn't want to freak you out like that.

Good, I was getting all scared.... and stuff.;)

Green looked phenomenal against an undefeated prospect in Codrington and beat Ravelo in an impressive fashion. Could Pascal do that to codrington? Probably not..

Let me ask you, do you think Green would blowout Codrington like that again? Things like that happens once a while, but don't go reading too much into it. Green would beat Codrington again though, I have no doubt about that.
Ravelo, give me a break.

So you don't think much of Pascal, yet you pick him to beat green, so i guess green means less than nothing to you?

Where did I say I didn't think much of Pascal? I think he is a very good boxer, the only real problem I have with him is the same problem I have with most contenders, they don't fight each other.

Green doesn't mean less than nothing to me, if he did, I wouldn't waste my time discussing the man would I? I have him at around top 15 at SMW, if you would like to know.

We'll see wsup with The Sweetness in his comeback. Fighters are going to be freaked out once they see his performance...

Yes, I'm sure they will have several sleepless nights after watching him beat Sherwin "the Bum" Davis.:yep
