When he stops messing about and actually boxes, sticks to a game plan, he is a ver fluid quick boxer. fast reactions, tough, strong chin, very good jab.
the last 3 rounds agaisnt Hall he was quality, shame he looked like a prat for the first 4.
If he sticks to what he does well, how far can he go?

Anthony Small is a very talented fighter who has potential. However, he needs to stop fucking around in the ring and stop all the stupid gimmicks because they are holding him back.

as a person, a bit of a cock, and acts it in the ring too. When he puts it together can look class, and i must admit, i was a bit surprised at what he did to hall.
Too cocksure though. Think he would look stupid against someone like rhodes right now.

I don't really know. He was like some nervous, stuttering baffoon. I think the jist of it was how amazing he was because he's stopped Bradley Pryce and Prince Arron.

The thing is, for the first 4 rounds against hall he looked bollocks, and i was praying for him to get brutally ko'd by hall, but something clicked for him, and he looked good finishing in the end.
He isn't super talented, but he has something, but i think he believes he has far more ability than he actually posseses, and as a result he showboats when he is doing shit. I mean i can't remember who he fought last time out, (think it was mcdonough), and he looked shit. And was lucky to get the decision. I must admit, i am not that bothered about watching him, as he bores the arse off me, and is a walking statement of everything that is wrong in the attitude of a number of boxers these days

Doesn't back up his showboating enough. Still, he is a character and has a very unorthodox style which makes him 'different' compared to your typical British boxer.

He is a pretender. Bit dopey if anything...also a bit punchy or thick after hearing him speak in interview last week. As a man i got time for him seems a decent guy. I don't take his antics serious in slightest..he's good for british boxing imo.
As a boxer he's ok has good attributes,Awkward style and could be made into a very classy fighter. I think the Hall win gets a bit overated imo. Hall that night was made to order.
Hall should of boxed better but he went in for war and let Smalls antics get best of him. The finish was classy but lets face it when a guy is swinging for fences with blood streaming into his eyes i expect most ''decent'' fighters to knock the guy out.
What i did like about Small that night was the gameplan from the ring walk to the finish i give him his due on that.

Agree with you guys who think he has talent but needs to stick to the plan and concentrate while in the ring. To be honest, I don't mind some of the antics. I rememeber watching one of his interviews on the old Bunce shows on setanta. Can't remember exactly what he said but something along the lines of he does it fun and boxing needs more characters. He needs to put in a good performance against Webb though.
Small is an absolute cock, however he does posses some smooth boxing skills. His trainer needs to give him a smack and make him nuckle down and get on with the boxing.

Small is one boxer I can't stand. He has got talent but he's nowhere near as good as he thinks he is. I don't usually go in for slagging boxers off on websites but I'm happy to make an exception here. Small is an absolute nob.

Small is annoying beyond belief. However, prior to his last outing - which was hopeless - he actually impressed me quite a bit and looks like an awkward operator with above average skills.
I doubt he'll ever make it to world level, but he could go far. Needs a few good wins on the trot again after his last horror show.

Sort of similar to Naz/Eubank (though I'm not saying anywhere near that scale) in that just as much people watch him and pay attention out of dislike for him, as those who are fans. At least he's not being ignored! So I guess his strategy is working.

rhodes would be a step too far for him right now, maybe another 5-6 fights, but i have a feeling rhodes will be gones before then anyway.

5-6 fights before Rhode..... NOWAY... Smalls is 29-30 he is at his peak now whereas Rhodes is getting older, i'd say Small needs to fight him in his next three fights!!! Smalls can beat Rhodes with the right game plan, he has the style to give Rhodes alot of problems.... He did stink the venue out in his last fight but i can assure you Small vs Webb is gonna be a real quality fight... 50-50 FIGHT

I just haven't really heard a satisfactory answer from him over the McDonagh fight. He said that McDonagh came to fight that sort of fight. Well if he's as good as he says he is then he should have been able to get past that. To me it looked more like McDonagh who was trying to push the action anyways.
He has talent. But I have a sneaky feeling the urban legend that is Prince Yassine, may do him if and when they meet. Rhodes blows hot and cold so difficult one to call.

He'll go no further than British title level. He's pretty awkward and difficult to beat but he's nowhere near as good as he thinks he is. If he reallyu was going to be top drawer, he'd be banging out the Pryces and McDonaghs of this world with some ease, not struggling with them
