Now I see why the americans on here are bitching about that Kellerman. That was some poor commentary, the ref gets to about a six count before they even mention the knock down and Kellerman says 'he's ruled it a knockdown'.
Truly some of the most amateurish boxing commentry I've ever heard, just lacked excitement and was fucking awful on every level. Insread of adding to the action it detracted from it:patsch

Ok sorry. I've just heard so much bitching about this Kellerman dude I assumed it must be him. I've never really heard either of the other two guys (obviously I'm familiar with MAnny Stewart) But either way the commentary was dogshit.
HBO have got all the money but just seem to employ helmet heads to front the boxing these days.

whatever happened to impartial commentary?
there was no excitement in the commentators voices and they were clearly disappointed with seeing castillo getting counted out!!!!!

YOu are correct. The commentary with Joe Tessitore was much better.

I've heard the whole HBO commentary now....goddamn, that was bad. Stewart at least was occasionally able to make good points, but Kellermen was a total dick and Lampley sadly seemed happy to just agree with him.
The end bit in particular, where Kellermen goes on about how it's bad to revise history and go back on your predictions...then does just that and describes Castillo as shot.
Hey jerkoff, shot fighters don't chuck fifty punches a round.
He might as well have just held up a Arum patented "yesterday I was lying, today I'm telling the truth" sign.
I'd been prepared to give Kellerman chances before, in the face of what I'd previously felt was harsh criticism, but he was godawful and I'm not giving this joker the benefit of the doubt any more.

Kellerman is a twerp. He's got the arrogance of Merchant but none of the style or sheer ballsiness.
Hatton said he felt like cracking him one when Kellerman started trying to diminish the win in the post-fight interview.

God forbid a man admit he was wrong.
You don't get it..it is not admitting you are wrong. It is saying before the first bell goes that basically the only thing that would be really impressive is if Hatton dominates and stops Castillo. He then does that, and you say "Actually it was not impressive, I know I said it would be but you see Castillo was shot".
Based on what? Certainly not ANY performance before, or you (Kellerman) would not have said what you did pre fight. So he is shot based off 4 rounds of boxing, where he threw leather and won the 3rd round on some score cards?
Pathetic.

Kellerman has no spine.
He didnt follow up when Hatton said PBF wasnt exciting.
Merchant would have pressed the issue and asked him directly if he wanted to fight PBF, when and at what weight.
Thanks to that idiot Max, we didnt get a direct answer out of Hatton. There are talks of the PBF-Hatton fight once again, but Ill believe it when I see it. Theyve been talking about this fight for 2 years and it still hasnt happened.
