Golota should win this fight, if he has anything left at all.

The fact that Golota has anything left at this point is amazing, his wars with Bowe were brutal.

Its on fightnews now too....... hes fighting backwards he gets hurt early then starts winning. it used to be the other way around..

They made it sound like he was in big time trubble in the first round. Showed some guts not to give up, then turn it around and win the fight. McBride isn't a big time win, but a good win. Past Golota would have gave up after that shot in the first round.

wow, I find this amazing.

1. Golota battled back after being hurt.
2. He turned to south paw and hurt McBride with his first punch.

Crazy.

Whats this link for?

Hi Jetski

Its a Polish sports site with analysis of the fight.

Golota started strong in the first round but after 2 minutes McBride connected with a hook that shook Golota, he followed up with more hooks and Golota was on unsteady legs, looked like he might not make it out of the round but he did. In the second round Golota went back to beating McBride and the same scenario continued until the 6 where Golota went southpaw and had McBride in trouble, the ref waived the fight off, McBride was tired.

I knew Golota would pull it out. He is underrated. Maybe b/c he is crazy as a MOFO but I always liked Golota.

Yeah, but he also kicked Bowes ass both times. The guy had everything to be a great fighter except the sanity.

He was kicking his ass, but he was also getting his ass kicked. Great fights until he got stupid.

Those fights also proved he has a chin, and it's his mental make-up that is always his downfall.

Probably one of the best fighters who seriously was held back by his weak mind.

Golota is a fine guy! Respect to him for not giving up. Maybe he is finally getting rid of his mental issues. Though 39 years is way too late for a comeback :-(

Golota has the tools to beat Tua. Tua has a punch, but his has to land, Tua get's outworked all the time by BAD competition, he just gets lucky because usually that competition is very chinny and can't take a punch.

I never understood the Tua love, the man is a very boring fighter most of the time.

McBride is not a very big win, no, but Golota did what he had to do. He beat the man they put in front of him. Job accomplished.................

But its good to see Golota come back from being hurt, and taking over from then on. Showed he can recompose himself and go on to overcome the initial setback. Focus and mental strength was illustrated here. Great to see from Golota, for a change. LOL

Now, Golota is gaining a bit of steem, and should either fight another Maddelone type fighter right away, or wait a couple months and fight someone more known.

It sounds like Golota almost got knocked out in the first round.

I wish Showtime would show the undercard fights. Rather then show a movie they are going to air another 75 times over the next couple months.

I cant believe Mcbride lost! But it was his own fault. Look at him. He is in terrible shape. Looks like he only lifted weights and hit the heavy bag. Look how big his fore arm is!

I knew McBride would lose, but as a Golota fan I'm worried such a bum could hurt him early in the 1st round. Golota is, has been and always will be a sitting fucking duck in that first round!!! He gets nervous and the anxiety is too heavy for him. This is what happened in the Lewis, Tyson and Brewster fights. His handlers need to teach him how to warm up BIG TIME!!! Every fighter will go out and try to KO him early, the blueprint to beat him has been exposed!

golota and meehan are both promoted by king so it makes it easy to set up

Exactly. People shouldn't be carried away - he beat KEVIN McBRIDE, a guy who's been knocked out by tomato cans!! And McBride ROCKED him. He did what he was supposed to do, yeah, but I would get overly confident about his ability to beat decent fighters.:-(

We have just seen how "Maddalone type fighter" almost KO'd him in the 1st round, and this will eventually happen if he fights few more bums. That is why I think the faster he fights for a title the better (not that I give him big chance against any beltholder, but at least there would be a chance).
