I just watched the first round and i believe Forbes will stop Bojado in this fight, Bojado was backing up and wincing when Forbes was hitting him in the body.. Lets see what happens :good

...I don't care what happens as long as my boy Forbes doesn't get jobbed like he did against Hopkins.

If Forbes wins, wounder if Goldenboys gets the guts to put D. Hopkens back in with Forbes?

Round 4 was pretty even both threw some good combinations in close
Probably 3-1 Forbes at this point. Hes looking pretty calm and focussed.

Round 6 i gave to Forbes.. Bojado came out strong throwing some good fast combos then Forbes came back and hit him with some good uppercuts on the inside and threw some good combos towards the end of the round. Bojado has some swelling to his right eye area

Forbes gave it to him in the 6th. Pancho looks confused.

round 6th was most exciting by far...great start to the round...Forbes landed like 5 straight uppercuts on Bojado....

Harold Ledderman has it 57-57 after 6 rounds. I have Forbes ahead by at least a point maybe 2

Round 7: Didnt see all of it cause i had to use the bathroom but seen Forbes hitting him with some good Jabs and Bojado looks winded.. Gave the round to Forbes

Not much action in the 7th, but Forbes did enough to win it. Pancho looks like he doesn't want to fight anymore. Maybe he'll get his 2nd wind.

Round 8: Forbes is the aggressor throwing some good punches, Bojado throwing some combos inside but nothing really on them hes just shoe shinning kinda. I gave Forbes the round
Sister Sledge

Round 8 was a better round for Pancho. It was still close, but I though Pancho landed the cleaner and harder punches, so he gets the nod. He still looks tired.

Ledderman has it 77-75 for Bojado, he's crazy there is no way Bojado is winning
markbrooklyn

Round 9: I gave to Bojado he threw more punches
Sister Sledge

Bojado was the clear winner of the 9th round and has gotten his second wind. He was left-hooking Forbes to death.

Maybe the winner of this fight was decided before it started or at least there would be a bias toward Bojado so if rounds were close he would get the nod

Sorry guys missed the last round, what happened? I stil think Forbes won by a point or 2 regardless of who won the round unless he got knocked down

This could be the second time in a row that Forbes could get screwd from Goldenboy promotioins....that would be a shame.

Bojado fucked around in that last round and almost got dropped. I gave the last round and the fight to Forbes by a close decision. I wouldn't be surprised of Pancho wins, though. They're trying to make him a serviceable fighter again.

Forbes wins! I'm surprised only because I thought the Mexican fighter would win. Justice is served.

Sweet, glad they didn't screw my boy two fights in a row.
Forbes has just about everything but power, and it's hurt him throughout his career, as he doesn't have that equalizer.

If he would have lost, could have called it, the "GoldenScrew Job" But they didn't do it.

Very close fight, I agreed with Merchant's scoring. Glad to see Forbes beat a GBP name all the same, that DHOP fight still pisses me off.

Happy for Forbes of course, he's close to the end of his career and to "beat" a young good fighter like Bojado will get him another decent payday....buuuut...Bojado should have received the decision.

The Contender's Steve Forbes (33-5, 9 KOs) won a close ten round split decision over Francisco "Panchito" Bojado (17-3, 11 KOs) in a welterweight bout. Scores were 96-94, 97-93 Forbes, 96-94 Bojado.

I agree.
Bojado should have gotten the nod.
Effort-wise, Forbes did all he could, Bojado (as always) failed to meet his potential. He could have done more and, in essence, screwed himself. Hopefully this serves as motivation and doesn't discourage him, because if he gets it together - and I know, it's the story of his career - the sky is the limit.

no way bojado won this fight. close sure. but letterman gave every single freekin close round to bojado, while forbes had to completely dominate to get the nod. it was a joke. so many close ones, however i dont feel bojado dominated a single round. while forbes clearly dominated 2 and clearly won the fifth. merchant disappointed me. for forbes to not even have the fight on the table on his card in the last round is a travesty. JUSTICE was served

I had it a draw. Lederman pissed me off with his exaggeration of Bojado's power punching. Forbes was never wobbled, and he never allowed any of Bojado's offensive flurries to last long enough to cause concern. Ineffective aggression does not trump consistent, slick boxing.

wow, that would be pretty sweet. probably get a lot of boos as it's a guaranteed chess match with about .0000000001% chance of a KO, but I'd love to see it. :yep

Frobes again any top 140 has a chance, and I think he beats Everbody expect witter and Paulie.
