Still going well at age 37.

He won against DaVarryl Williamson and by retirement from Williamson. He got shafted bigtime against Brewster now tell me where does or who does Meehan fight next.

I'd love to see him fight Shane Cameron to tell you the truth. What i fight that would make.

Would make sense for him to fight today's other winner, Golota. Cameron is a step back in terms of opposition profile IMO.

I feel Kali would get KO'd against Golota. Golota just that notch too good. Just like Rahman was.

He could definately get himself a Title shot.

I think a fight against Cameron in NZ or Aussie would be a big fight Camerons team keep saying they want a big fight and Meehan would be one!

On paper it sounds good but not sure either fighter has the profile over here to make it financially viable.

im with leon, meehan should aim for golota in chicago as golota is a big draw especially there, they have same promoter in king so should be ane asy set up,

Sorry for all the question's but would he have to cover his travel and accomodation with his purse??

Also how much of a fighters purse% would meehan be left with after paying trainer/cut man??

Just curious to how much coin the battling contender makes in the fightgame..

Cheers mate..

from what i know hed lose at least 30% of his purse to trainer and manager, then tax, airfares food accomadagtion should all be paid for by promoter

Big win for Kali, wasnt sure if he could do it, good on him.

Golota is the smart bet, he is very beatable. At his best he is quite good but those days are behind him and if you really really go after him in the first your half a chance of knocking him off. He looked pretty bad against a really bad opponant in McBride on the weekend.

Plus now he is ranked is the perfect "soft" defence option for any of the new champs. I think he is ranked by the WBA so Chagaev might be the go.

A fight with McCline would do Kali no harm either.

Yeah a fight with McCline or Golota would be good for him.
Otherwise look for a world title eliminator.

This thread deserves to have legs...I just watched the KO on ********* and "HAVE A BIT OF THAT"! Do you know what I love (from a females point of view) is when the opponent is KO'd by one of our aussie legends, is the way they walk, run, strutt back to there corner. :bbb
Well done Kali

Yeah man he is a garbo...

Has done very well with very limited oppurtunities, though most oz/kiwi boxers have to deal with limited top quality facilities etc.

Only have to ask bobby that question.??

i hope he makes some serious coin in a couple of fights or whatever, if he faces golota it will be good money, or someone like mccline, who will be overated to the hill now that he dropped sam peter (this is no way putting him down, as i like him he fights basically anyone) don king has many detractors but one thing he can certainly do is bring in money fights, mark you deal with the man is he the best in the business at what he does??

maco, i havent really done much with him yet, but if i can get the results in the ring he will give me the opportunities, thats why i think hes the best heavyweight promoter
