View Full Version : 3 Things about the fight tonight...

1. MAB apparently watched the tape of his 1st fight with Pac about 100X. He did his homework, he did what he has to do to survive.

2. MAB was at the best he could ever be at this point of his career.

3. Pac defense improved. But when defense steps up, offense takes a dip.

Overall, although many may not be happy that Pac did not KO MAB, I think Pac's new style is just what he needs when he fights either JMM or Guzman next.

I am very satisfied of pac's perforamcne tonight, there was no way MAB could have won although yes he made it more competitive AS I EXPECTED.

Barrera didn't do anything.. Sure he got hit less, but that's because he ran the whole time.

This is true but I don't think that the offense suffered so much that he should be worried. It's good for him to avoid punches more. He still won comfortably

Barrera came to survive.....plain and simple and not get KTFOTrue he didn't want to trade that would leave himself open to pac's power So he did the smart thing.

Pacman has worked on his upper body movement and firing the right hand from angles. He seems to have bettered himself overall, though I still think I see a small dip in power.

The title of the fight should have been "Will to survive" since MAB's intention was to last 12 rounds with Pac and not get hurt.

He is probably thinking he did better than Erik Morales..:yep

I agree on the observation.

Just to add up . . . MAB didn't really pushed the fight to win. He is boxing and countering well . . . but that's just to stop Pacquaio's onslaught and survive.
