Battle of the hype jobs: Brock Vs Peter

These are two of the biggest hype jobs of recent memory. I just never understood why they were hyped to begin with. I just don't see why anyone ever saw anything special in either of them.

I honestly believe Brock out boxes Peter to a UD.

I don't think Brock is really a hype job- he's never been particularly hyped by many. I've always maintained that Peter was very overhyped, which is now exceedingly apparent. Peter's chin is obviously not the granite block it's been talked up to be, his punching power is overrated(he's still never stopped a top 20 heavyweight in his career and consistently fails to even come close to stopping anyone durable), and his boxing skills are mediocre.
Brock, on the other hand, is not really great at any one thing, but he's above average at pretty much everything, and I would expect him to smoothly outbox Peter and get a UD, or, after this last outing, it wouldn't surprise me all that much if Brock knocked him out.

50-50. brock is a good boxer w/an awkward style but has a shaky beard. peter is so full of himself now, i think he can be had by any legit hw on any given night.

Vlad is so far above Peter it is incredible!!!!!!! Vlad by extremely brutal knockout if Don King ever allows Peter to get near Vlad. No three knockdowns by Peter Vs. Vlad, one a very illegal blow behind the head the other a shove, no punch at all. Vlad's skills are so far above Peter, a rematch would be a very easy win by Vlad. Don King will do anything to protect Peter and Peter needs protection, he lost to Toney in the first fight won the second, but Toney is a fat old middleweight. McCline is not a big puncher, but he kicked Peter's arse tonight!

Whoa, whoa, whoa- how many times now have you declared that Brock has a china chin for going down once, for a brief count, against McCline, then getting up and recovering to normal within 30 seconds and dominating the remainder of the fight? And now it only "raises questions" about Peter's chin when he goes down not once, not twice, but three times and barely escapes to take a slow decision against the same guy(only now he's even older)?!?!?

I'm assuming this is meant in context with the previous sentence(that "at least Peter got up"), in which case I'll point out that Brock has always gotten up when he's gone down as well. If you mean this as a prediction that Brock would go down and stay down against Peter, then you need to justify such an argument- what does Peter really do better than Brock? He's not as good of a boxer, he's not as fast or as active, and his often-wildly-hyped-up power and chin are proving to be badly overrated. Brock is an all-around more complete fighter and, if he fights smartly, is perfectly capable of taking a UD over Peter, in my opinion.
