The whole world(i.e. this place) knows that Fury got a fine ass whupping the last time he fought McDermott, but the hell he went through as a relative novice againt McDermott will have made him a better fighter, & thats why I see him stopping John in the rematch.
John has seen better days but had a last hurrah against Fury & corruption ruined his Rocky story. Lightning doesnt strike twice in this case, so put your money on the big gypo, with the lookalike brother!(hes at ringside sometimes, & when you see him, I bet like me you cant stop laughing at how much he looks like Tyson Fury, only fatter)

I stood next to him at the first fight as a McDermott supporter. I didn't do too much cheering .... he's a big ole lump!

Bollocks...
I'm going to go to Mitchell vs Katsidis on May 15th and had promised someone to go with them to Bayaar vs Sexton on May 7th.
Can anyone come up with an excuse I can tell Mrs Lee Mc so I can go to this as well? :huh

In answer to one of the original questions, the Premier League will be finished by this date, so with no Football First there shouldn't be any reason why this can't get a decent slot on Sky Sports.

I scored the first a draw. Watch it with no sound, Watt announces every punch McDonut lands but says nothing when Fury lands.

If itv were interested in boxing why wait til then. Murray needs to find himself a new promotor.

Tell her you're having an affair and you gotta go shag the bird.
Trust me she'll just be relieved your not going to boxing!!!:deal

Commentry was v poor as is to be expected from watt these days.
Even scoring the fight quite harshly I still had to give it to Big Mac by at least 1.
Remember the outcry was over the scorecard not the result. Although obviously most people felt the result was piss poor as well.
Big John was the clear winner for me.
Just after the fight I went to Froch Dirrell. After the fight I got in a lift with Fury and his bird. I kept my mouth shut lol. I was too pissed to hold my hands up!!!

I met Fury post Froch-Dirrell and he was a really nice lad.
Anyway, I had McDermott 6-4 when I re-watched it (a month or so ago) though I felt Fury had done enough on the night (was pissed up and only really watching what Fury was doing) although, strangely, McDermott looked fucked in the last round. Walked away a few times.
I think over 12, Fury, despite his inexperience and obvious stamina issues, could pulled back those last two just due to the sheer volume of (arm) punches was throwing late on.
A close fight, not a robbery in my opinion, but Terry O Connors scorecard was embarrassing.
