How accurate are they?
I don't believe any of the numbers they put up.
Barrera landed more than given credit, and PAC landed less but given credit for more...

Pac won easy, but compubox has always been worthless.

I thought Pac won easy, but I thought the compubox numbers were bullshit. Barrera landed alot more punches than he was given credit for. Do they have a couple 90 year olds counting punches??

I've had my doubts on it for a little while, would like to know how they tally it up. Its like in the amateurs, they have five judges who press a button when they think a punch has landed, and its only scored if three or more press within a second [This was the method a few years ago, unsure if it still is].
My point is, if 3 guys cant see a clear punch, and it does happen, how accurate is compubox? Is it one guy tallying one fighters total, one counting punches thrown? Basically, does it come down to one guys opinion if a punch landed or not?

Compubox counts the pitty pat puches that PACMAN typically throws in his combinations. Once again, PAC won easy and he is a hard puncher when he's not pitty pattying, but compubox doesn't differentiate; quantitative, not qualitative.

Compubox is perfect for Jim Lampley; he doesn't know shit about boxing so he uses this worthless tool as a guide for his blow by blow commentary.

Compubox differentiates between powershots, jabs, and bodyshots? Yea; a powershot is anything other than a jab or body shot; even if the overhand right is a mere slap. Sorry El Rey, it needs to be more sophisticated than that.

Yea, but you said it's a little more complicated. I don't agree; I think it's too simplistic.

What are you getting at? Their system is shit. I'm just telling you how it's done.
Hes telling you its not correct the way its done. not all punches that are not jabs and bodyshots are powerpunches but compubox counts it this way

Compubox is not a good way to measure the course of a fight.
However, Pac won by a WIDE margin.
