But only if you get the new Setanta Sports channel, which is only another $6.00 a month. :happy

I thought it was another $15 a month? That's what it says on Setanta's site.

If you already have the Sports Plus package it's only $6.00, I figured most of the fellas who had Fox would already have that anyway.:good

Looks like I'll have Setanta for a month at least then.

You can have it on for 6 months and it'll still be cheaper than buying the fight on PPV.:smoke
I'll keep it because of the Football.

I've got ESPN and Eurosport etc, so does that mean it's only another $6 a month for me? I hope so, that's sensational. I'll be keeping it anyway, Celtic FC!

PS - Where did you see about it only being $6? Sensational...

No dramas. Too good to be true! Still they show a bit of boxing that we wouldn't get. I know they show a few John Duddy fights. Barrera v Pac was on the UK Setanta, but not the Oz one I think.

It will be interesting to see how it rates in Australia.

The two top fighters in the division and the fight probably won't come even close to rating as high as Mundine / Green.:blood

Should be a great match nonetheless.
Hope to see it live on tv if possible.

I can guarantee you that it won't rate anywhere close to Mundine v Green. The average Aussie punter would have no idea in hell who those 2 are sadly.

Mate, I think everything goes through Setanta. It's only available to satellite viewers on Oct 9th. Cable waits a lil longer.

Great news. I was beginning to doubt we'd get this fight due to nothing being mentioned.

So any place with setenta can view this fight for no extra charge? If so, thats good, cos theres a pub around the casino that has setenta.

Thanks mate, I was looking on foxtel's site.
It's available from today for satelite customers but cable viewers (which I am) have to wait a little longer. I'm a big soccer fan so I'll be getting it for sure.

Channel 525 if you have digital...should have given a one month free trial for everyone so we could decide. Maybe 2+ hours of Man Utd might turn a few off though.

Maybe 2+ hours of Man Utd might turn a few off though. They should be paying us $6 a month if thats the case.

Though, doesn't Liverpool have its own channel through setenta?
Liverpool FCTV I think it's called?!

Possibly, I did a flick through on the EPG last night and saw 2.5 hours of MUTV and also CelticTV. I follow both those teams but will admit there is a degree of overkill there.
Still think they've made a massive error of judgement but not giving a months free trial, seems to be the norm when most new channels are added.

Gotta disagree with you Leon. They're making a killing at the moment. People are signing up for it left right and centre. As for the 2.5+ hours of Celtic TV...bring it on. It's an Irish station showing Irish sport + SPL, EPL etc. Basically a soccer channel, with the odd fight. If people are signing up month in month out for boxing they'll be disappointed. Still there's no cancellation fee so $15 for a fight of the Calzaghe v Kessler magnitude is unreal.

I don't know how anyone could support Rangers. Their fans are easily amongst the worst in Europe. Bigotted fucking scum...
