You have to take into account that he was totally gassed in that fight, though...I think it was more of a gross lack of conditioning than real chin problems that let him get smacked around so much.

Also, big difference between McCline's punching and Wladimir's. Wladimir has a good straight right, but it was the uppercut that gave Peter problems last night. McCline also went balls out trying to destroy Peter, whereas Wlad was cautious as always. BIG difference between someone like Wlad tossing 1-2s at you and a huge guy like McCline laying on top of you and pounding you with uppercuts and hooks.

Wlad was not putting power into his punches, he didnt want to get hit. He seemed still mentally affected from previous Knock outs.

The thing I noticed last night was Peter was flatfooted on the inside and had no respect for McCline. McCline caught him with punches he didn't see coming and he also caught Peter in the middle of flurries.

I don't think Peter has a weak chin. He took massive punches from Wladimir, but you can't keep taking those. Eventually, you're gonna go down. And McCline, although he isn't known as a puncher, is 6-6, 266 and he can hurt you if he gets leverage into his punches.

I rated Peter's chin as "Iron" before the McCline fight. Now, I would rate it as "Good."

Exactly. Wlad was not putting his force into those shots, as he was moving and trying to stay very elusive and move in and out, while earning points, instead of putting power on his shots to KO Peter. Even Steward was heard on the mic between rounds telling Klit to not worry about power, box and go for speed.

McCline was throwing powershots and was seemingly trying to KO Peter with those uppercuts and overhand rights.
