Who else is in your top 3? There are fighters who were not champions or long time champions who hit very hard.

Pavlik stops guys on accumulation...

Hearns
Echols
Barkley

Eubank KO'd less than half his opponents.

In the last round against Joe Calzaghe, he hit Joe Calzaghe with a uppercut. And Calzaghe fell onto Chris Eubank with his eye's closed, Eubank did not attemped to hit him again, even though there was nearly 10seconds left.

This is very true...and I didn't take that into account. But even prior to that, he had something like 10 of his 28 fights go the distance. 18ko's is impressive in 28 fights, but my guess is Pavlik probably hits a bit harder.

If this is true (I have never seen the fight) why didn't he just simply move? You are implying that Calzaghe was out cold. This means he could have won the fight.

Joe Calzaghe was hurt, but not out Cold. One more power uppercut, in my opinion would of blasted out Joe Calzaghe.
But Chris Eubank did not throw another punch, he was psycholgically affected by the Michael Watson fight.

I aint sure about that mr kool, even if he had dropped him i am pretty sure calzaghe would have just gotten back up, eubank was a good puncher but he wasn't exactly benn or jackson.

Pavlik must coninue to Ko guys at this level and defend, the guy has power and is decieving, the last hook vs Taylor reminded me of Marciano's finishing left in the Walcott fight after the famous right...Kid has real potential but its still too early in his carreer to compare him to Monzon,Hagler,Ketchel Etc.

eubank lost the first round and fought very conservative only pot shotting and trying to counter calzaghe....then in the last 2 rounds his team said search for him...so out goes chris and bang an uppercut and some left hooks smacked right onto joes' jaw and he was rocked more stunned then anything. and calzaghe threw back just as much and eubank came back again to the end of the bell...that was it in reality he was far from being stopped or koed or even manfredoed but he was caught by a good counterpuncher and came back to win the last round which he could of given up.

It's too hard to objectively rank such an subjective item, like an attribute. But, you could make a good argument that Pavlik is the hardest hitter in the middleweight division today. He's definitely the hardest hitter Miranda and Taylor have ever faced, and that should mean something.

The fight was a fucking War, Joe Calzaghe's hardest fights ever, he even said so himself years later. Chris Euabnk took that fight at short notice aswell, he got allot of respect because it was one of his best performances.

I still stand by my belief that Pavlik's power is a bit overrated. For example, he does not have top 3 all time middleweight power.
His KO ability have just as much to do with:
- Stamina/Workrate
- Ability to tell when someone is hurt
- Skill at not letting people who are hurt clinch
- Jab (which makes people not see the right hand)
- Accuracy
Am I the only guy who noticed a pause before answering when Taylor and Miranda were asked if Pavlik had power?

Power does not equal KO ability. Andrade does not have good power, but he throws a million looping shots, so he can KO a lot of people.

So anybody he doesn't have top 3 ALL TIME middleweight power makes the power they have overrated? :huh
You'll have to explain that one to me...

No. That would be like saying Spinks has overrated power, since he doesn't have top 3 all time junior middleweight power.
If someone does not have T3ATMP (top 3 all time middleweight power), but is believed to have T3ATMP, than their power is overrated.

Fair play to Pavlik, he has these boxing 'fans' eating out of his hand. Remember, 'Thou shalt not worship false Idols'.
