I'm hoping Enzo Mac will be involved but I have no idea who's in the line up? If anyone does then feel free to let me know.:good

It wouldn't surprise me to see Ovil McKenzie invited back to defend his "title". Apart from that who knows...

It's too soon since the last Cruiserwieght Prizefighter to generate a lot of interest which suggests that someone like Enzo would be brought in to add a bit of excitement. I also think that Leon Wiliams might get the gig as well.

I think the problem would be that the lower down you get the amount of fighters capable of putting on a good performance in such a tournement becomes less.

I'd actually like to see Barry Hearn limit the amount of prozefighters to 2 a year. Yeah, some have been good and very enjoyable but most have been poor. I don't look forward to them very often at all.

Like I said in another thread, Prizefighter gets many more viewers than your normal FFN card - Sky will continue to demand the 5-6 tournaments a year. I agree though, 2 a year would be ideal.

quality, but i wouldn't put jeffries in or anderson, as they do tend to be made up of ex prospects that are a bit shop worn. would put in david in stead maybe. And by the way, hasn't mcguire moved to lhw?

I'm tired of Prizefighter now myself, if its on a different day so its extra boxing I dont mind but when its instead of a FFN i'm not so impressed.

The fact is though it pulls a lot more viewers than most FFN's, due to its casual fan/betting person appeal.

If its cruiserweights Bellew should get involved non of his fights go past 3 anyways easy money. I douby he would cos prizefighters are funny things but if he did im sure it would be 3 fights 3 ko's with whoever they could find to put in with him

I hope they keep it at the higher weights the Light Welter one had lots of good fighters but not 3 round fighters. Barnes & Lyno looked like it could have been good over 10 or 12 same with Rees and Lynes.

The Heavies and cruisers were the best i had seen but both divisions are really slim.

I'd say Prizefighter would be a certain step backward for him now mate, now that he's got the Commonwealth, for me Prizefighters more about younger fighters who can't seem to get the exposure, or older fighters who are perhaps in last chance saloon.

Obviously I wouldn't mind seeing him in it though as he's a smashing machine :good

Ye i agree tbh i mean now he has got the belt can probably expect some half decent domestic oppostion for him now which was the problem before but ye it probably is a step backwards. I just am dying to see more of him!!!

i am just interested to see if any domestic opposition will face him, as he seems to be finding it hard to get a fight. But prize fighter, as much as a like it, is not for him.
it is a step back for enzo too, if he is looking to challenge at world level again too

You say that about Enzo but it hasnt done bad for Audley, go people talking about world title shots for him again

Audley is fighting for the euro title against a guy who ko'd him though.
I mean don't get me wrong, it wouldn't be a disaster if he fought in prizefighter, but it send out the signal that he is happy to sit around at british level. Now i am not saying enzo can compete at world level, but his aspirations are world level again, and prizefighter is not going to help in that respect long term

You just feel like enzo has to do something i mean what is the masterplan? I honestly thought Frank just wanted to be rid of him by the Lebdev fight. I would be interested as to what Enzo's ideal plan back to the top is

If previous Pricefighters held outside London are anything to go by, you'd be amongst few. :deal

if it was held in manchester or liverpool and had a few local fighters it would be better than most of the london shows

i would like to see him retired, as i think he is shot unfortuately, but he seems to think he can aim higher, and i am just looking at the route he should take to do it, and prizefighter aint it to be honest

I happened to hear you something today and you guys may just get your wish. Just won't say too much till I speak to my informer again. Heard Liverpool as a venue, though.

The first one was by far the best.... the events since then have seen fighters that are cautious trying to save energy for later rounds (some have ended up losing on workrate as a result) rather than going all out.

It might be better if they get some big bangers in there, preferably with weak chins and stamina.

The 140lb tourney looked the best on paper but was pretty tedious because the fighters were almost too good for the format of the show.

The first one was great with Rogan the crude brawler going for broke every round, just like Ovil McKenzie doing the same. The last heavyweight one was great for the names and some results. Everything inbetween has been a bit of a miss with me. Mostly to do with getting people that usually box 12 rounds or 10 to fight 3 round fights.

The higher weights usually make for much better tournaments, although if you could do a 'fantasy' Prizefighter I would make a middleweight one with the likes of Renda, Samuels, Hall, Concepcion, El Maachi etc. all fighters who can bang, but are also vulnerable as well :yep

That would be well worth watching bangers that can be dropped. Too many amateur prospects get throwing in for my liking although i thought Flournoy looked great in the last one sort of gutted he got beat, but the lightweights one with Brawley, burke & McArthur made no sense they all looked long distance fighters. Hearns choice of fighters is a bit random at time he got the last and first heavyweight one spot on same with the cruiserweight with all the Old timers and seasoned vets in it. Other than that i find it hard to get one with the bangers, Sinclair vs Pryce ruined the last one for me if they had met later i think we would have a good tournament there.
