Yep, during sparring. Took the fight anyway.

I've heard some great bullshit excuses in my day, but Peter and his camp have elevated the "bullshit excuse" to an art form. I mean, they will literally say anything in an attempt to save face. Let's review the excuses thus far... First, Peter claimed his hand was broken in training and some post-fight press reports even indicate that he claimed he broke both of his hands in training. Either way, it will be interesting to see if photos released from Peter's Africa tour over the coming weeks show him wearing a cast on either of his two "broken" hands. Second, Peter claimed that he wasn't knocked down in the fight. Rather, he slipped -- three times -- due to the paint. Don't make me laugh. Three, Peter's camp is claiming that Peter didn't have adequate time to prepare for fighting a taller opponent. Whenever I hear such excuses, I'm totally mystified. What about McCline? Did he have adequate time to prepare for fighting a shorter opponent? Is his camp complaining? Peter is a hype job. Plain and simple. And he was EXPOSED in the worst way. I haven't seen a fighter lose so much during a winning performance since Mesi "beat" Jirov. Peter is done. He argues that he deserves a rematch with Wladimir Klitschko. If that's true, then couldn't McCline argue that he deserves a rematch with Peter? I can't wait until a fighter with real killer instinct and a reputation for finishing off their opponents when they have them in trouble gets into the ring with this powder-blue shorts-wearing yahoo.

Peter won the fight last night but lost much more. Peter has lost his legitimacy and credibility.

Ok but I hope you're not a Wladimir fan because your argument doesn't help Wladimir's claim considering that Peter is a hype job to u. You can't have it both ways. Either Wladimir gutted it out to beat a good fighter or he got floored 3 times by a hype job that had no business being in the ring with him.

My argument has nothing to do with Wladimir's "claim." In what way did I suggest that I'm a Wladimir fan?

:good

Peter not once in the fight seemed hesistant to throw either hand. McCline just had his knee fucked up 4 months which we all saw, but you won't hear him about that.
