How do you see some of these fights going

Friday:

South Africa - Raul Garcia Vs Nkosinathi Joyi. Not seen much of both but I've read a few things on both fighters could be Joyi's coming out party. Sammy Gutierrez is a common opponent for both with Garcia fighting him 3 times (2 wins and a draw) While Joyi put him away in 7.

USA - Steve Cunningham Vs Matt Godfrey. I'm not a fan of Godfrey at all turning down two or three fights with Herbie Hide for a number one shot at the WBC a year ago made me think his promoter hasn't much faith in him. I'm predicting a KO for Cunningham. Think he will out box Godfrey for 4 or 5 rounds and as Godfrey gets desperate he will walk on to something.

England - Decent FFN this week Hatton Vs Branco isn't to tempting as a main event seeing as Branco's only fight in the last year was a journeymen (Petrovics) who has been stopped twice and out boxed 3 times since then. The fight after Branco Jamie Cox beat Petrovics the fighter after Branco and he isn't even in the EBU top 25 so god knows how Branco got this fight.

Hard to tell what Branco has left after almost a year out. I'm going with Hatton to outwork him and maybe force a stoppage late on.

I'm with you. Can't say I know much of Joyi or Garcia but I'll go Joyi just on home advantage and common opponent.

I THINK Godfrey/Cunningham is postponed. [Only registered and activated users can see links]

I'm taking Matt Hatton, not sure how Branco is going to win that fight being 39 years old away from home, above his peak weight and he was really struggling against the Fin Toppola before they robbed him on some swelling bullshit.

Was looking forward to seeing the Cunningham and Godfrey just had a quick search on it seems like its definitely off with both sides blaming the other as usual. I'll probably add saturdays now as friday looks a bit shit.

I'm abit dissapointed tbh. Not really a fan of M.Hatton after hearing him last time after his draw with N'dou. What other fights are on after the main event, anyone know?

Anthony Small Vs Sam Webb for the British title
El Macchi Vs Lusambya.

Don't think Hatton won much fans with that showing after the N'Dou fight came off as a complete cunt.

I feel for Small and Webb for weeks they were headline fight on that show and then Matthew has to become main event. Knowing way Small thinks...he must be pissed off and will go to extreme extents to catch the viewing publics eye...what ring entrance can he muster up this time.

More places than UKTV are available these days. I thought the forum would know this by now seeing as we have a RBR from america almost every week.

Cunningham will beat Godfrey imo. The USS is a class act and i hope he can get back to his best. When he boxes he's hard to beat...has great athleticism to go with his skills.
