Who has the most wins over Hall of Famers? Also I would like to know how many ATG's (All-Time Greats) one boxer has defeated.
I was asked this by my brother the other day and have searched around but could not find out the answer.

If ATG weren't such a subjective term, the answer would be easier.

I think the answer is Harry Greb with wins over 9 HOF. He beat Levinsky (2), Dillon, Mike Gibbons, Tommy Gibbons, Tunney, Loughran (2), Flowers, Walker, and Rosenbloom

Harry Greb I believe defeated the most Hall Of Famers...Such As
Gene Tunney
Mickey Walker
Jack Dillon
Battling Levinsky
Tommy Gibbons
Tommy Loughran
Tiger Flowers
Maxsie Rosenbloom etc
And I might add all these HOF's,except for Mickey Walker and Tiger Flowers. weremuch heavier than Greb, from 10 to 15 pounds,larger...

Quite true, I suppose we could just offer opinions on this one!

I had forgotten that Greb had so many quality wins.
My first guess was Jim Jefferies and percentage-wise he is the tops with 19 total fights he beat 6 Hall of Famers and had a ridiculous 8 World title defenses.

McClarnin beat 13 hall of famers and he has other fighters in his resume that could be inducted in the future,a terrific resume.

I'm not sure if Ray has beaten the most Hall of famers but he holds many wins over them
Angott x 3
Zivic x 2
Armstrong
Gavilan x 2
Lamotta x 5
Turpin
Basilio
Fullmer
Graziano
Olson x 4
Thats 21 victories over HOF ers. It may not be the highest but it's up there.

Wolgast, Arizmendy, Ross, Ambers, Angott, Jenkins, Zivic, Bass, Wright, Montanez.Ceferino Garcia entered the now defunct Ring HOF in 1977, and is one of just three members of their modern category who have yet to be inducted into the IBHOF. (Gus Lesnevich and Yoshio Shirai are the others.) Accepting Ceferino's Ring membership brings Hank's total up to 11. Looking at the names honored by the Ring which have yet to gain entry into Canastota, I'm pretty confident that most, if not all, will eventually be included. Garcia's overdue, so I expect that to be rectified in the next couple of years.

Looks like Greb take the prize on this one while some fighters have a few more they were rematches. IMO you have to rate a fighter higher for taking on such varied great fighters and little on the rematch front.
This page convinced me as well seeing the huge (some over 80 pounds heavier) and great fighters he fought.

12. McLarnin lost a split to Brouillard.
Greb has 13 IBHOF scalps if you count Blackburn. And at least 21 victories(22 if you count Blackburn) the last time I counted.
