The guy who got blown out in one round last time is the favorite. Go figure.

He was an 8-1 favorite the first time, and he was just caught cold. I guess it's always possible that Kretschmann's chin is epically bad, but there's no way Bakhtov wins unless Kretschmann gets knocked out again. Considering that Krestchmann probably beats Bakhtov 4 times out of 5, I don't think these are bad odds at all. He went 8 rounds with T-Rex, so I suspect it's not that he has a complete glass jaw.

I haven't seen it, but a lot could have to do with how fast Bakhtov is able to start.
He seemed to ease off the gas pedal very early on against Sam, which allowed SSS to get into a rhythm and control things with his length (of which Kretschmann has even more).
If Bakhtov jumps right on him and repeats the upset in familiar fashion, it could ultimately prove a matter of Kretschmann being vulnerable to blitzkrieg aggression, rather than a solitary instance of being caught cold. He himself isn't very explosive out of the gate.

Bakhtov outclassed Kretschmann, which is pathetic. Even more pathetic, the judges actually had Kretschmann winning at the point when he quit. Oh well. It's just vcash.

Settled.

It was fairly close IMO. I had Bakhtov just about taking a lead at the time. That doesn't really disguise the fact Kretschmann never looked comfortable under attack though, he looked to be struggling from about round 4 or 5 onwards and at that point the outcome was starting to look inevitable.
