This fight is less than a month away. Who wins this one and why?
Chambers is undefeated but Brock has only been beaten once by Wlad.
Brock has also fought slightly better opposition beating Mc Cline and Zuri Lawrence. I would have to think this one goes the distance. Maybe a close one for Brock but could Eddie be fast enough to out hustle him to a decision?

I think both are very solid fighters, but I see Chamber's advantage in speed giving him the edge. Chambers by UD

I am not sure if I've seen Chambers on FNF or not, but I think I have.
But I'll pick Brock, just so I can have a stance on it.
Brock by late TKO>

I am looking forward to this fight as well as povetkin vs. Byrd. I am about 95% sure that Povetkin will beat Byrd in much the same way that he beat Donald. Even if it isn't as one sided, I still don't see really how Povetkin can lose this. Though I don't think that Byrd will open up the way that he did against Wlad. I think he learned his lesson. He will be doing what he does best, a lot of defense.
Povetkin UD.
However, Chambers vs. Brock seems to be kind of like an American tournament. With the winner being the best American heavyweight this side of Tony Thompson who isn't on the other side of losing a title.
I have seen Chambers most recent fights against Derrick Rossy and Dominick Guinn. He showed some heart vs Rossy and his work rate was enough to make Guinn look even more lethargic than he is.
I think it comes down to Brock's state of mind after losing to Wlad. If he comes back focused and is willing to keep up with the work rate of Chambers, I think he will be the more dominant fighter and win the UD.
I am about 70% sure of a Brock win. Brock has a habit of fighting at the level of his opponent though, this is Chambers first major fight, if Chambers is a little gun shy I think it can be on the dull side. But I hope its not.
Povetkin vs. Brock in March of next year? I think Povetkin takes out Brock unless Brock has really improved.
I think both Povetkin and Klitschko take on relatively softer touches before they themselves fight. Klitschko vs. Povetkin will be the heavyweight fight of 2008.

I like Brock, but I think Chambers is the all around better fighter (minus the power). I believe Chambers is the new Calvin Brock (who was the new Dominick Guinn) as in the the next big thing in the Heavyweight division (American). I hope I just didn't jinx Chambers...

That's my birthday!
Brock should win but Chambers is fast, this could really go either way and I'll be watching it for sure.

Brock will win, in one of the most boring heavyweights fights of the year. Brock will land the bigger punches leading to him winning the fight, the scores will look like this 116-112 for Brock.

Chambers UD12, Chambers will outbox him for 12 rounds. Slow ass Brock will hardly land anything.

Chambers will get his come uppance:good
Chambers has better accuracy, speed, and DEFENSE. He eats up a lot of shots with his gloves/guard in somewhat similarity to Winky Wright. His suprising handspeed lets him counter and be effective.
Both men are fine individuals OUTSIDE the ring, :good but Calvin's already peaked in my estimation:good Deep down? I dont believe he's put the Wlad KO behind him, although power isnt what he'll worry about here.
IMO, Chambers knows the opportunity and will seize the moment.

This is a solid match-up but I'm not sure how entertaining it will be. As far as a winner I'd have to take Chambers. I think he's the slicker and quicker of the two and that will be the difference.
I think Chambers would match up well with Povetkin and would actually be a solid underdog. With Brock, I think Povetkin beats him as well, but it would be more entertaining.
Ultimately Brock nor Chamber will beat Wlad. Even though he got beat the first time Brock has more of a chance than Chambers. Chambers has very little chance with Wlad. As far as Brock-Chambers, I'd go with Chambers by UD.

Well... we KNOW Brock wont!!!!
Chambers??
Possibly, but not likely!!!
Chambers is the type, who if he forced himself to make CW?? Would thoroughly dominate:good
At HW?? He's still gonna beat most, but guy's lke WK sport a very superior size advantage.
I like Chambers, so I might even gamble a 100 or 200. depending on the odds vs Klitschko. Though I'd admittedly expect to lose tat bet.
