Probably - it's not that late in Vegas:lol:

The question is really "would Peter have 2 losses?"

Probably not - I think Peter would have escaped with a close decision.

Keep in mind. The Atomic Bull has KO'ed a prime Lennox in 2 rds, and a prime Maskeav in 1.:deal

I would have said "Peter doesn't get stopped early by anybody" but after Saturday night, I can't use that argument any more.

I think McCall-Peter would be a close/even fight

mccall would have knocked him out probably inside of three rounds. unquestionably mccall has the better chin, is definately the better boxer, and can knock out just about anyone

What do you think of Peter's chances against Gomez?

Mccall is a tough as fighter, I wont say who would of won but if Mccall would of had Peter hurt like Mccline did it would of been over, Mccline has good stamina too.

McCall would've had Sams Peters head flying into the front row. Sort of like on Friday the 13th "Jason takes Manhattan" when that guy on a rooftop was punching and punching Jason then said, "Gimme your best shot" only to have Jason fly his head off the rooftop.

I remember that scene

When McCall isn't missing any screws in his head he is a tough fighter to beat...I think he would of had a field day with Peter

I think Peter can beat Gomez, Gomez doesn't have the same power that made him great in the Cruiserweights, and because of that Sam will not be to tentative to engange toe to toe with Gomez and that's the kind of fight Gomez hates, especially in the HW's.

I picked Gomez over McCall, because Gomez has McCall number and he will beat him again.

If McCall had his wits about him, Peter would've been a cooked goose.

And since McCall won the WBC eliminator, shouldn't he have fought Peter?

Oh right, he's too dangerous, I'm sure.

Maybe Peter would have taken a different approach for the fight...it's possible that McCall would share the reach advantage that Peter did not train for...

Peter would have given Mccall a lifesized beatdown, why is everybody so giddy on Mccall??:huh a 42 yr old former crackhead that was soundly beaten by Frank Bruno way back in 95, but seems like 100 eons ago, Mccall was nothing special in his prime, he's too unpredictable and at 42 to old.

He is a former champ. And with wins over LL, Maskev, and Larry Holmes, he has the best resume outside of Holyfield in the division.

He is ranked in the top 5 at the WBC. Make of that what you will.
