He's alright, but not at the elite level, and he's kind of old to think of as a contender. I thought he looked pretty good against Tony Hanshaw, but both Roy Jones and Andre Dirrell looked substantially better against him not too long after. I could see him challenging for a title if he plays the cards right, but almost no chance that he would win.

He's technically on-point, but as Brickhaus said even in his early thirties during the first Showtime super middleweight tournament (the bootleg predecessor of the Super Six) his speed and reflexes weren't on the level of a Dirrell or a faded Jones. He's now entering his late thirties and has feasted on subpar opposition, although that's largely due to a bad promotional deal he got stuck in.

He should beat Fernando Zuniga in June. Hopefully that card gets televised and it likely will - J.C. Gomez, Shawn Hawk, and Zahir Raheem are also on it. Maybe not worthy of HBO or Showtime on a Saturday night, but certainly FSN.

Ultimately, he'll either retire undefeated (but some would argue, largely untested) - or he'll finally step up to the top level and challenge for a world title years too late and likely come up short given the elite depth at 168 now.

His best shot would be the WBO (winner of Stieglitz-Gutknecht).

Not as good as Jean Baptiste Mendy was.
