I think because of who Dana White and Bob Arum are, Ariel can't be rude to them even if they make dumb statements, so that was reflected in his hesitancy.

You really couldn't have a reporter tearing White and Arum a new arsehole and then expect to ever interview them again.

Fair point. I did think of that but he could still have said his piece without coming across as rude.
