I for one will soarely miss Cross Trainer. He is an exceptional poster that has contributed a great deal to the board in the way of history, training, philosophy and many other elements. I'll never forget his debate a few months ago with Amsterdam. That was one of the best debates I have yet seen on this forum.

I wish him the best of luck.

Yes, cross trainer is indeed the man. The classic forum will feel a little empty sometimes now.

It's not just that he is so knowledgable, but he always treated everybody with respect, and also has a great sense of humour. The place won't be the same without him.

He'll be off for about a year doing important work outside of the forum he says, not sure what exactly.

Ok man, cheers.

He's been sentanced to a year for tax evasion.

It's the best they could get him for he's so ahead of the game.

A massive asset to this forum, he will be a huge hole to fill.

Boo! Boooo!

He ducked me many times, drawing (and inventing) the avatar-line which meant that i wasn't getting a response unless i wore a John L. avatar. He also kept and retained the "ESB Classic poster award" by being good 'friends' with the sanctioning poster.

Wow, cross is leaving?? That is surely the forum's loss - he was one of the best posters on the forum, imo. I wish him luck in whatever he is choosing to devote his time to!

he said he was writing a book on the history of mma, if that's it then I can't wait till he publishes, if it's anything like his posts it'll be a must have.

cross_trainer be sadly missed and the Classic Forum won't quite be the same without his depth of knowledge and valuable contributions.

A real champion, it's a true testament that he can get around all the boards and remain friendly and respected with all participants during the course of banter and debate. Such a gentleman.

have to agree. I never saw him insulting anyone.

That was his main weakness.

Now the fight begins for his vacant title.
