Jackson hit like a ton of bricks. I can't think of too many fighters who left as many opponents knocked stiff, out cold. The Graham, Drayton, Norris, Powell, Milton, Negron and Cardamone KO's were his best.

JJ is my 2nd fav puncher of all time behind Iron Mike. His power was simply unreal.

He'd be ruling 154 VERY EASILY if he was prime today.

Yea Jackson could hit, but none of those guy's where on the skill level of Hagler:-(..

Marvin Hagler would have cleaned his clock....
Leonard, Hearns, and maybe Duran would have whipped him too...

for sure...out of 10 fights with any of them they'd win 8. but in 2 times out of 10, jackson could catch them and not even hagler could shake off his blows easily

Bob Fitzsimmons aside, Julian Jackson arguably had the best one shot KO power ever. He's definitely alongside Cuevas and Ayala as my favorite KO artists.

i was watching it earlier thinking "norris is the greatest junior middle ever" then BAM lights out. jackson wasn't great technically but he would find an opening and land. and when he landed the fight was over. to beat him you had to avoid both hands, all night

i have norris, mccallum, and jackson at the top. i want to put hearns in there but he wasn't there long enough and winky's resume wasn't that deep

I do believe that Norris was a better fighter than Jackson but out of principle that he kayoed my boy Terry in 2 rounds, I have to rate Jackson one slot higher at 154.

Love the way you timed the action with the music, it seems like most times when there's a rise in the chanting going on, it coincides with Jackson hitting someone with a big shot.
