Jean Pascal is now rated No10 contender by the ring's magazine at 168. Who do you think he should fight next?

Jeff Lacy would be interessting.

Peter Manfredo would be a good test for him now. Or possible a showdown with Allen Green. I think he loses that one but I think a loss right now would do him more good than bad. It would help him concentrate on refining his technique.
wrong. In terms of his career a loss to Allen Green would be devestating. You will never get anywhere if you have a loss to Allen fucking Green while in your physical prime.

Maybe it would force him to up his technical game a bit, but in terms of promotion it would be a nightmare.

Calm the fuck down. You're obviously one of these guys who's of the opinion that one loss ruins a guy's career. :verysad Look at it this way, if Pascal lost to a talented fighter such as Green it would likely be because of his technical flaws, thus forcing Pascal to work on those parts of his game making him a better fighter when he makes a comeback.

A loss isn't always a bad thing in boxing.

I dont mean to put words in his mouth, but I think he's saying it would be terrible from a promotional aspect. I mean we're talking about losing to Allan Green, who never had nearly as much hype as say, Edison Miranda. What promoter is going to want to touch him after that, especially considering that Green is still and "up and comer" of sorts?

In terms of actually improving, I agree with you, a loss like this could be very beneficial. All depends on how he takes it, though.
