He just made sure that Palhares will never able to aim his leg:lol:.

I've said it since the beggining. Palhares has wayyyyyyy better chance to sub Silva than Maia or Leites does.

Why? Because it's rare the kind of guy who has his BJJ talent WITH the ability to slam a SOB like Henderson

gimme a guy who goes in and gives me his all and loses then a guy who shows me he's a bitch and wins. EVERYTIME!

Silva is pissed with the UFC for not letting him fight RJ and making a shitload of money.
The End.

i hope so and i also hope he gets his ass handed to him in that fight, cause we all know that gsp can take him down and most likely ground and pound him or submit him

Nice conspiracy theory.:good

In all seriousness I hope a Silva/GSP fight comes off. I'd like to see Silva in a competitive and exciting fight again, win or lose.

Oh, then I don't have the smallest clue as to why he did what he did.

Maybe he's just a twat who doesn't respect his opponents, his company, or his fans who ultimately pay his wages.

maybe he is sick of getting put in the ring with these built up jokes that dana white and the ufc keep hyping to make the fight seem credible....

Maybe he has some sympathy for his weak opposition and refuses to satisfy dana white at his opponents expense

Maybe he is tired of getting paid the shitty wage dana whites controlling ass pays all his fighters

dana white is a prick!! Anderson Silva is one of the few fighters that give the ufc any credibility as far as skills are concerned....dana white needs to stop wining...

I'm a huge Silva fan but there's no excuse for his antics. He respectfully bowed to Maia before the fight, then subsequently taunts him for no good reason. I'm still a fan but if he keeps it up I will find it easy to leave his fanbase.

The last two selections for Silva were not bad. Griffin and Belfort are world class. It's unfortunate that Belfort had to pull out but you can't blame it on anybody. If Silva was not pleased with the situation then all he had to do was make short work of Maia to get an easy payday. That would've been a better statement than dancing around like a clown in the octagon because it would suggest to everyone the UFC is paying him the most money they possibly can for just a few minutes of easy work.

I think the conspiracy theory-ists or those suggesting Silva was trying to make some sort of point, haven't actually seen the fight. Silva's antics were so embarrassing comical, I actually felt humiliated for him. and that was when he was at least demonstrating some skill in the early rounds . Then when he kept on scampering away like some half witted pansy it was almost too painful to watch.

To think that he flushed his reputation and standing down the toilet just to score some cheap points against the UFC or to generate interest for the next fight is simply not the case. Trust me on this one.

Its actually a great point. Just look at the Rampage situation.

Anderson was definately trying to make a point. He wants to fight worthy opponents which doesnt exist in the UFC, however he can NEVER leave because he is still the UFC champion, he is stuck in the org and will continue to unless he looses a fight.

This "CHAMPIONSHIP CLAUSE" is one of the reson Fedor refuses to join the UFC. Fedor has publicly stated this very unfair clause. This clause means that Anderson will be fighting in the UFC indefinately.
