I would, but he wont... Sadly Tito's gonna make Jones look good.

Problem is they are both old, and each is only a percentage of what they once were, so it makes it hard to say what it means to eachothers legacy. Its like a mini Trinidad vs. a mini Jones.

How do you know what it means, if a huge part of why one wins is the others diminished ability... I just dont know.

They are both well past their primes, so I really don't know

This fight would make more sense IF....

Tito fought say Pavlik/Sturm and won (he's not beating Taylor or Abraham)
RJJ fought Berrio/Inkin/Kessler/Mundine/Lacy and won.

Then have a fight... that way you've got two fighters who have beat relatively good opposition - not two shot old fighters who ain't done shit in a while (think Vargas vs Mosley)

I would give Tito a better chance at beating Arthur Abraham than Kelly Pavlik, although I think he gets KO'd against both.

If they are both old then whats the problem? It will still be a good fight.

Im just saying its hard to tell its meaning when talking legacy.

If Tito wins, he'll be worshipped. If......When Roy wins, no one will care.

Whether a fan wants to make the case whether 1 is better than the other, that will probaly be debatable afterwards.

But I just want to see who wins that all.

And whoever wins will have that person name on their resume. It's a nice trophy to have an ATG on your W list.

I'm sure if Roy wins Roy fans around the world will raise their head an cheer because Roy now has Tito added to his list of W's.

And Tito fans will do likewise if he wins.

This fight is kind of about redemption, both fighters want to redeem their legacy. It's not a bad thing.

I can see where you are coming from.. just hope neither gets hurt.

Of course, i'll care, but he won't get the same credit from other boxing fans as Tito if he wins.

Tito looked sensational in his return Vs Mayorga and pretty much ended Mayorga's career as a bully boxer, he has not been the same since. He looked sensational going into the ring against Winky when it comes to the physical shape aspect but was confused against a defensive genius in a boring fight in which the hardest punch landed was a jab, can't believe people think Tito is shot, what has he shown you to make you think he is physically shot (nothing). RJJ on the other hand was KO'D in back to back fights. And then against Tarver 3 he was wobbled another 4 times. He has shown he is shot. You guy's need to get it together.
Haha, he looked great against Mayorga? You serious? Cory Spinks looked good against Mayorga, EVERYONE LOOKS GOOD AGAINST MAYORGA, the fact is that it took about 800 clean shots for Trinidad to KO Mayorga, in the 8th i think it was, meanwhile Oscar landed 1 clean left hook and sent him to the floor... Bottomline is that he is shot, and these go into retirement and then come out again for 2 years at a time will not make anyone better only worse, and considering that hes been out for 2 years and now coming up in weight to fight Roy Jones (albeit all the diminished skills) will just make Tito look kinda like Corrales (rip) when he moved up to fight Clottley

Fucking kidding me? Tito is an average puncher at 160. At 170 he's gonna be Spinks Junior. He has no chance against Jones. None.

Not as much as beating a prime RJ but yeah I would give him credit. At least it makes his stats look great. He would have then beaten 5 US Olympians. :yep

They are both over-the-hill, but Jones will beat Tito.
