Im glad pac beat mab for 1 reason, he`s a fuckin little cheat.
Every time things arent going his way he will hit on the break or low blow or some other shit.
Pacman was kicking his ass in rd 11 & mab hit him on the break & pac wasnt quite the same after that although he won clearly anyway.
Mab lost a point in the 1st pac fight for the same thing & should have lost numerous points in the 2nd morales fight.
What do all 3 fights have in common.... barrera was losing.

Erik Morales put it best, "I don't dislike him. He is just a Mother Fucker."...or something like that, funny shit though hearing it in Eriks voice

I take nothing away from mab as a skilled fighter but he is a poor sportsman & dont forget he jabbed kenny mckinney at the press conference & did likewise to my man erik morales just before their 2nd fight then had the cheek to back peddle when morales behaved as morales does... he started throwing bombs back with the bare fists.
Barrera always makes himself out to be the good guy but despite his cleverness he has never fooled me.
If I were morales, I would get him back in the ring & have a double retirement party ending boxings best ever rivalry at 2-2.
4 fights

He does get down and dirty when the going gets tough...but for some reason it never really bothers me (and I can't justify why not). I'm surprised that the HBO team didn't notice how fucked up Manny was after the illegal punch in the 11th round. If Barrera had unloaded on Pac, he could have KO'ed him (not that it would have been fair) but MAB didn't seem to notice he was messed up either and just kept surviving.

yeah I know shelterr,
pac was badly stunned & Im glad barrera didnt notice it, I watched the fight in scotland & our commentators were right on it, it looked as if pac was gonna need the 5mins rest but he never even took 1min.
Have to admit, pac is growing on me, a true warrior & very exciting even though he broke my heart (Im a morales fan for a decade at least)

I'd be on one of those gay Barrera tribute threads if he didn't act like a classless idiot ON his last fight.

word for word it translated too...
"I DONT HATE BARRERA, SIMPLY, HE CAN JUST FUCK HIS MOTHER"
but it dont really mean that...CHINGA TU MADRE is used to diss the fuck out of you...it's like one of the lowest things to tell someone...it actually means something like FUCK YOU, it's not to be taken literral....

At 1st I was angry at pacman for trying to box barrera when I thought he should have made war from the opening bell but in a way Im glad he did what he did because most people didnt think he could beat barrera by boxing cautiously.
I thought, oh no he`s gonna hand mab this win on a plate but the maturity that pacquiao showed while pressing forward shows how much he has grown & he is closing in on floyd as our no1 p4p (although I still have dickbreath at no1 right now)
In the space of 2 fights, pac has tore through (1st fight) & outboxed (2nd fight) barrera & that in itself deserves a pat on the back.
I thought he beat jmm the 1st time & Im betting on him to do it again only with less knockdowns but a lot more convincingly (doesnt sound right does it but you know what I mean)
I dont see marquez boxing his way back from a bad start this time, I think pac takes him this time, here`s hoping this fight comes off.

"No no no no no. I don't hate him. I just treat people the way they treat me. He's a m0th3rfuck3r. It's as simple as that". - Erik Morales comment on Marco Antonio Barrera, HBO Countdown to PAC Vs. EM III:yep

Regarding the cheap shot on Pac and how he looked hurt, I won't be surprised if that's one of Roach's tactics to get points deducted from mab in case he does that, and he did.

Even without an acting tactic . . . a point deduction is in order. That's justice bruh . . . the rules should apply evenly to everybody. :yep

I remember The Barrera vs Prince Hamed fight and how almost everyone at ESB thought Hamed got what he deserved, The tackle's to the ground the push with hamed's head against the turnbuckle, The HBO commentator's where all laughing it up none of them said anything about his dirty tactics then i wonder why?
The same people who approved of his actions against Hamed are now years later calling him a cheat funny.. Ive seen the same happen on different boxing boards.
Thats pretty much justified because Prince was an overhyped prick who deserve to get his mouth smashed. While PAc was still praising at the end of the fight. Its class plain and simple:deal

iwas glad marco lost but hey the rules say protect your self at all times when the referee came forth that's a sign of protection really.. until mab hits pac.
being dirty is part of mab's game. plus he is kinda losing it and he knows it that's why he threw the sucker punch.

Barerra was cut badly in BOTH fights by pacman via illegal headbutts
Cry me a river , he retaliated man i don;t know of your boxing knowledge man,
headbutts are really prone to happen especially if it is between a southpaw and an orthodox fighter as their main arm would both meet at the same time in exchange so is their heads.
plus don't try to label pac as a dirty fighter: he was never one. if there was it was mab.
Barerra was cut badly in BOTH fights by pacman via illegal headbutts
i beg to disagree. it was mab who was trying to headbutt pac on the first fight by raising his head when pac was on top of him. i pressume you did not watch the first mab fight or forgotten about it? :huh

the cuts in the fisrt fight were from ACCIDENTAL headbutts. i didn't notice a headbutt in their second fight that opened that cut. there was nothing accidental about mab's headbutt to the chest and his two punches at the break.
would you also care to explain why mab hit jmm after knocking him down? what retaliate for?

The remaining 41 seconds, Pac hits JMM while clearly down!!!
He also butted and cut Barerra twice.;
Easily as bad as Barerra
uhm no. they were accidental headbutts not like the blatant one mab threw to pac's chest. i have no excuses for pac hitting jmm. jmm's one hand was on the canvass so it was officially a kd. so pac did it once. mab on the other hand did the same to jmm, and punched pac on the break twice.
so pac easily is not as bad as MAB

Barrera is a well-known cheater when he's desperate on in serious danger, did you forget what he did in the first fight?, he tried MANY times to headbutt Pac on purpose. Barrera deserved to get knocked out brutally in the first fight and deserved to get knocked out in the second but sadly he managed to escape that one.

and btw, mab's cut is below the eye in the 2nd fight..and i presume that it came from a punch. i really did not see any headbutts happening in the 2nd fight that opened it at all. if there was mab would simultaneously complain or the ref would deduct pts off pac. if you saw it dolyexx can you pls. state what round?

Very decent and classy guy too, never belittling but giving props to Barrera, never took advantage of the MAB slip on the 12th... I mean, what's not to like 'bout this guy?:good

Review the 11th in slomo several times if needs be, and you will see that the cut was from a punch, not a headbutt...

Barrera really did lose, deserving or not. And what else would you expect when Marco get frustrated in a fight than by doing some outrageous or flagrant moves in the ring? It's unfortunate for him but who cares, he is still Barrera, it's his nature and he got deducted from all of it anyway.
