Do you think he was Impressed by Andersons performance???
Has he been interviewed since the fights, would be interested in hearing his views on both fights. :deal

The way the camera kept cutting to GSP made me feel this fight might be in the pipe line. Lets hope so.

I'm kind of thinking that the plan was to have GSP come into the ring after the fight, but Anderson's shitty performance made White change his mind

That's what I think. Dana became worried about putting his second best earner in with Anderson Silva after Silva started getting booed and jeered for his bizarre performance.
I don't think Anderson's reputation has suffered that much, but Dana is clearly beside himself with anger, and might think that GSP can sell more PPVs without Silva than with him.

 Yeah not only does he have to fight him eventually, but now he MIGHT have to fight him at a time where Anderson is motivated to make a statement....similar to the Griffin performance :patsch

Yeah, I was thinking this same thing. After Silva did the expected and KO'd Maia, GSP would walk in the cage and BAM! Biggest Fight EVER announced! I woulda creamed my pants and still been excited!
So, fuck Silva and fuck fuck FUCK for not being able to see this fight now!

He might be thinking what Leonard thought when he saw Hagler vs Duran. Silva was gassed after 3. If he drains to 170, as long as GSP doesn't get caught I think he can outgrapple him.

If Silva drains to 170, GSP will destroy him. The fight must happen at 185 or not at all

Sad that Silva even has to drop to 170 to fight him. GSP should man up and move up.

GSP should fight 1 or 2 MW to gets accustomed to 185 and then fight Silva.

Anderson was getting ready to do the same fucking thing to Griffin! He was clowining, taunting, hurting him then backing off... He just happened to catch him on the way in with a flicky jab and Griffin gave up.

I agree that they shouldn't fight at 170. That's not realistic for Silva, either though I believe he said he can do it. Perhaps a catchweight?

Another thing I like about St Pierre - is he ever NOT at a UFC show (barring the free Spike shows)? He truly wants to represent and be an ambassador for the sport and the UFC as much as possible. A guy like him could write his own ticket, but you can tell that he loves everything about being a UFC champion and a MMA fighter in general.

GSP says he wants to be known as the greatest pound for pound mixed martial artist of all time.
To achieve his dream, he needs to move up to 185 and fight for Silva's title.

I definitely think that a catchweight is the answer...

Catchweight or GSP moves up or Silva down I hope GSP puts Silva on his back and knocks him out.
