I do like Frank. He is confident and level headed. I've started to become a fan of his.

He isn't the most talented fighter in the world, he isn't the smartest in the world and he isn't the best technically but I give him credit for continously assessing his game and trying to evolve as a fighter.

Him vs Gonzaga, Rothwell etc would be good comeback fights. I hope he blitzs them and moves on.

Fuckin' well-spoken guy that Frank is. Aces w/ me. He's a real credit to his sport.

P.S. He is the most talented and technical HW in the UFC.

I don't know how anyone can not like Mir. He's honest, articulate, a class act all-round. Sure he can be confident to the point of cocky/complacent, and in the Carwin fight that really cost him, but he can be reflective and philosophical too.

I would really like to see Frank fight Gabriel Gonzaga next. Frank has failed to deal with huge guys like Lesnar and Carwin lately, so he needs to fight someone that size (or almost that size) and beat them to prove to himself and everyone else that he can. Beating a smaller guy like Kongo again will be pointless. Gonzaga can come in at 255lbs, he really rocked Shane Carwin with a punch, and he would be the best test for Frank now.

Great interview. Honest, articulate and respectful about his fellow fighters. He will make a great pundit when he leaves fighting.

Just a really inspiring athlete from my point of view. Takes a defeat like a man, with his only concern being how to better himself. Take notes...everyone.
