They look alike and fight alike. I'm obviously not saying Edgar is the second coming of Pep but he was boxing like him. He made it work in MMA.

they look alike but as far as fighting alike you have it all wrong, edgar bounced away on his toes in similar fashion to the way pep did but that is it, edgar was getting caught by counters whereas pep whilst bouncing away on his toes would avoid incoming shots, sure we could say anderson silva was moving like RJJ in the first few rounds but to say they fight alike is nonsense, its one thing to fight like someone and another thing to imitate

He obviously isn't as good. I can fight like Ali, it doesn't mean I'll be as good as it or as successful. He does however use the same style of footwork, head movement, rapid fire combos etc

I don't see it. Willie Pep built his entire game around having an incredible defence and superb reflexes. Edgar has neither. Edgar is more like Joe Calzaghe - extremely busy but without the punching ability to do much damage.

Edgar is fucking awesome, probably one of my favourite fighters, can't wait to see him fight again. So much heart and great skill.

Edgars my top 3 favorite fighter. He has a heart of a champion and a modern set of skills.

Its 100% percent plausible to say Edgar reminds somebody of Pep. He made look quite stupid after that first round. On a side note, vernon paris looked class tonight.
