This week, MMA/boxing clothing company BellatorGero announced the signing of hard hitting Brit Jimi Manuwa.

The undefeated 'Poster Boy' takes on Valentino Petrescu at the next UC show... What do people think about that fight?
Is Manuwa UFC bound?
I can post vids if people want...

Not gonna lie I've never heard of him, but a record of 7-0 with all wins by stoppage is still pretty impressive, even if the competition is more domestic British standard.
I'd appreciate it if you could post some videos mate.:good

Physically he looks strong and powerful. Given that he's a former weightlifter I suppose thats not so surprising. He definitely looks to have good power in his hands. Skills wise he seems pretty raw, but after a bit of digging, that also comes as no surprise. He made his MMA debut after only a month or so of training according to his website, so he's no doubt learning as he goes and should continue to progress.
It's hard to gauge where he's at against his current opposition. After blowing through these guys he should be hopefully looking to step up the competition.

Hey, thanks for posting this Deano, Jimi is defo the real deal. For sure he's raw, but he is beating what's put in front of him, and who can ask for more than that. He takes his training seriously and we know he will be a big big deal. Destined for the top. :thumbsup

All I can see is gold, dizzy rascale and the need for a new belt to be designed.
