he was like, what, number 300 in the world. He was the slowest fighter ever (which he was/is for real), he had no technique, no talent, no nothing.

And now they give Golota props for beating that loser, who under normal boxing heavyweight circumstances could only dream of fighting on Any tv.

What I am trying to say is: damn the heavyweight scene is way worse (in the US) then you think it is.

I think it's only the Golota fans who are giving Andrew a lot of credit for beating McBride. Most people know McBride is worse now than he ever was, and at his best he wasn't good at all.

By the way, if a fighter can't ko Mcbride withing 3 rounds is says more about how bad that fighter is then how good mcbride is.

I wasn't aware that any sort of effort, much less a "desperate" one, was actually needed to disparage McBride or to make Golota fans look like fools.

One - McBride is terrible.

Two - Doesnt matter because Golota took care of buisiness.

Was it an impressive win....? No!
Was it a win...? Yes!

What some people dont realize is, ya cant take on ATGs in every fight.

mcbride isn't as bad as people are making him out to be. have people even watched his fights? he's not the slowest heavyweight and is actually reasonably athletic for his size. of course, he's not elite but i'd say even tho he's been stopped by mike mollo he's a reasonable fringe contender especially for this era.

McBride isn't title material but he isn't as big bum as you try to convince people.

His right place is decent C+ fighter. If Golota is criticized for not knocking him
out within 3 rounds but just in 6 then I guess Sam Peter should retire for
being knocked down 3 times and wasn't even being close to finish McCline.

If Peter was less impressive in beating McCline than

McBride is C class but he is still decent, he is slow but he has the size and a pretty heavy punch, Golota took care of business.

Bingo. How can anyone suggest that beating McBum means ANYTHING. He was a china-chinned joke before he fought the shell of Tyson, and he's still a STILL a china-chinned joke! :nod
