Jake Shields needs to rematch Mayhem now. All he did last time was dry hump his ass to a decision. I'm sorry but I lost a lot of fucking respect from Jake and his whole fucking camp. It was complete bullshit. Everyone involved is a bunch of pussies.
Miller has nothing to offer Shields. If you can't stop Shields from taking you down you arn't going to beat him.

Miller has a lot of offer. He's a very good fighter and the first fight was bullshit.

Im a mayhem fan, he dosn't deserve a rematch, Jacare is the fighter that should be next in line with Shields.

I'm not talking a title match. This is a grudge match now. Throw him in with Nick Diaz since they like to soccer kick a downed opponent.

Maybe sometime soon since Miller won a fight last night and was on the verge of choking Shields out but lets see what happens in the Robbie Lawler fight. Shields has to get in there with Jacare in the meantime thats a great fight.

Mayhem almost choked this supposed BJJ master. Shields and his safety first is boring as piss. I'd love to see Mayhem smash Nick's head.

Dont say supposed like Shields isnt legit. The guy is safety first for sure but hes a great grappler. 2 time All American Wrestler, finished 3rd in Abu Dhabi one year, Cesar Gracie Blackbelt and his MMA victims prove how legit he is hes outgrappled very good grapplers. Mayhem is a great Jiujitsu guy himself and yeah would have finished Shields had the time not expired in the round but he just cant wrestle.

Yea but Mayhem has excellent muay thai and very sneaky submissions as seen in their first fight. Plus Mayhem is growing into his own as a fighter.

Mayhem lost. All he had to was the submission attempt.

Mayhem did really well to nearly submit him in the first fight but for most of the fight Shields was clearly dominating, he doesn't need a rematch, as much as he did a good job of hyping it the other night. There are a few guys ahead of him in the Strikeforce pecking order right now and we don't even know if Shields will stay in Strikeforce.

Jacare would own Sheilds badly. His BJJ is on another level and he is bigger, better on his feet and has explosive takedowns and TD defence.

Yep that's the fight I think should happen, while Shields should fight Jacare - which I think would be an excellent fight.
Also I don't why people get at Shields for not subbing Miller. Maybe the fight was boring, but Mayhem's sub defence is very good. Jacare couldn't do it either.

Oh yeah he did alot of great escapes in that fight. Mayhem has some great Jiujitsu hes very underatted IMO. Im really looking forward to the Mayhem and Robbie Lawler rematch.

Well that's because he's not on a major MMA company. I don't know why the UFC don't sign him.

Jake beat Mayhem but dont forget Mayhem basically had him finished with the RNC but time ran out in the 3rd. The fight was very competitive up until that point then in the 4th and 5th Shields stopped taking risks and humped his way to a decision. Diaz-Mayhem would be extremly competitive as Mayhem isnt giving away the reach most fighters do and he isnt going to allow Diaz to wear him down. Mayhem will be right there kicking at Diaz legs and trading with him and making it a hell of a fight. Mayhem is a very underatted fighter.

Mayhem has some of the best jujitsu and muay thai in MMA. Not to mention submitting him is next to impossible. Ask GSP. Nick Diaz would get a rude awakening especially at 185. Miller is backing out of the Hollywood limelight and back into serious training which spells a looooong night for whoever He faces win or lose.

I know Diaz seriously deserves a suspension and right now is scheduled to face Hayato Sakurai and Mayhem is headed for a Robbie Lawler rematch. I say dont suspend Diaz I feel like let them fight there upcoming bouts then pull a TUF 1. Remember when Koscheck and Leben had issues ? Fucking let them fight. Regardless of what happens Diaz and Mayhem are very talented and marketable fights this is a cant miss fight because of one the trash talk and 2 they both love to get in there and scrap this wont be a lets hug it out a slow jabbing and occassionally power punch type of fight. Diaz has no real tough options at 170 to defend his belt agianst and he showed in 09 fighting at 180 was no problem and Mayhem has spent some time at 170 im sure he wouldnt mind that weight.

Shields/Miller II sounds good to me. I think everybody would rather see Diaz/Miller, though.

I agree. I'am a big Diaz/Cesar Gracie team fan so, I was probabley being a bit bias. Miller is underrated and Shields/Miller was very competitive. By no means did Shields "kick Miller's ass". I would still pick both Shields and Diaz to beat Miller, though. I think Diaz could beat him pretty good.

I talked to Miller on twitter and he specifically said he wants Diaz ASAP at 180.

Only if Miller can get past Shields! The first fight was close but Jake didn't really "FIGHT". Nick.....I really don't think he has a chance to beat Nick Diaz. Nick is one of the best in MMA right now.

I'd love to see Miller Shields II but Diaz Miller is interesting as hell. I gotta go with Miller.

Diaz vs Miller would be a good fight. Miller aint no punk which is obvious by him coming to the cage where Cesar Gracies team was celebrating the win to confront Shields. It should be a good fight on the feet or on the ground, but I think that Nick would either stop him late or win a close decision.

Miller is almost impossible to submit. So Nick can forget that. On the feet it'll come down to Miller's knees in a muay thai clintch which he loves to utilize or Nick's pawing jab / right combo which is surprisingly effective.
