Have we got any good chick boxers in Aus? If so do they get their own cards or fight on undercards?
Its becoming alot bigger in the US. When i was there last they had a Friday Night fights in which the main event was two chicks, light heavyweights i think. Its actually not as bad as you may think. I reckon some of them would hold their own against blokes :D:lol:

Sharon Anyos & Erin McGowen from Western Australia has looked awesome since starting her pro career.
Sharon is having a baby at the moment, so boxing & her world title are on hold.

I should elaborate a bit. I have seen Sharon once and she fought very hard, a lot like Fenech did. Good volume puncher. Wasn't the worst to watch, they definitely get into it. She was on the undercard I think of one of the Jamie Myer cards

Thats the hard part for female boxers. Plus the fact that if they take hard hits to the body it can actually effect their ability to give birth in some cases. Especially in the case of kickboxers.

Erin Mcgowan has fought nothing but stiffs except for angie par so far, thai imports half her size and for someone who's won 5 australian amature titles and represented australia in the world championships.
she needs to step it up and stop fooling the nieve perth audiences and fight someone her own size who can also fight.
Massive numbers of chicks around in the pro ranks mate.:patsch
With little money to entice opponents too, its extremely difficult.
Also, she has only just started her pro career. She is heading to the US later this year for development.
