Olympic gold medalist Rakhim Chakkiev (5-0, 5 KOs) continued his rapid rise with an explosive 82-second annhilitaion of Slavomir Selicky (15-7-1, 6 KOs) in a cruiserweight clash. Selicky was remained on the canvas some time.

thanks! man he's looking good so far. i know he's only about 6'0 but i wonder if he'll step up to hw at some point. ibragimov was only about 6'0

Thanks Rod Strooth, and welcome to the board.
Chakkiev was a favorite of mine in the amateurs. He's hard as nails, fights aggressively, and as you can see has good power. His fundamental defense looks to have improved a bit as well, though it was not needed in this fight.

He said he wouldn't in a interview when he first turned pro but let's hope he changes his mind.
Looks a great prospect.

I think Chakkiev has already weighted in over 200 pounds. He can get to 210 no problem. 220 would be a bit too much weight for him,
I'm sold on Chakkiev as a power hitter as a heavyweight. He can move up there after he makes his money at crusier.
