wow man. i used to hate baroni because of his loud mouth and i wanted him to get beaten up by shamrock. but after seeing him not tap out, i just gotta give him props. i heard he's out 6-7 months. i hope he recovers quicker.

Shamrock is still an asshole. I respect this guy only because he was the prototypical MMA athlete who could truly do it all.His wasted most of his career pratting around in hollywood trying to be an actor and basically being a jerk.I mean he knows the rules why did he rabbit punch Baroni like that? Why did he DQ himself in his last fight with Renzo? If thats his MO quit MMA and pit fight illegally that way he can get away with all his usual bullshit tactics.

Sham was acting a prick and it did make me think come on Baroni. He NEARLY turned it around but Sham sealed the deal. However when he did Baroni totally won us over by not tapping. Sham kicked him off and it pissed me off a bit.

30 seconds into the fight, Baroni tore his groin muscle off the bone apparently. He had been having problems with his hamstring and had received cortizone shots around his hip region to allow to train. When the groin tore, a large piece of intestine erupted through the muscle and he fought with a baseball sized hernia under his shorts. This is all according to his manager on Sherdog's Beatdown radio. He will be out for the remainder of the year.

I thought it was funny when he did the "head on pillow" motion.

I really dislike Shamrock. Didn't like Baroni coming in, but he won my respect. Tough motherfucker. Hoping Shamrock meets a beating here soon.

Always like Shamrock for his ability. Personality was always entertaining, but he is a major dick. It was wrong to rabbit punch, rabbit knee and kick off Baroni. Baroni is a tough tough guy. Way to take your lumps. Shamrock is still hella talented and can still beat alot of good fighters.

but the thing is, i've seen baroni talk so much crap about other people. he would commentate sometimes and totally rip on fighters. so at least to me i got a kick out of it (no pun intended).

Soko did a Judo sweep and throw on Shamrock in training, and busted him up. However, you could tell in the fight that Shamrock didn't have the injuries that he is claiming. Those type of injuries completely control your range of motion.

there was nothing wrong with shamrock's shit talking or kicking him at the end. Baroni talked so much shit before the fight, not giving shamrock the respect he deserved. They hated eachother, so shamrock just did w/e he wanted to get back at the guy. The rabbid punching was intentional, and gay, but the taunts and all that were fine. I'll admit, he is a cocky fuck, but I don't really think he was out of line with most of the stuff he did and that was a hell of a performance. I thought baroni was gonna knock him out....then first round he drops him.
