Diaz would beat him, and he's the best at that weight class, and he has a better resume at 135, and a better future. But fans don't elect Champions and Casamayor is still the Lightweight Champion.

At this stage in his career I have to go against Casamayor. He has been a very good fighter but his time is up. He hasnt performed at a high level for a while and he is 35-36 which is ancient for lightweights. Casamayor is a southpaw, wily, has some decent power and speed but I dont think he has enough left in the tank to win.....Casamayor 2001-2005 would have beaten Diaz...too bad its 2007.

I love Casa but Juan's workrate is too much for anybody now Freddy is not stupid to put Pac in from of the bull.

Juan by UD or even late TKO. He may not be the hardest hitter, but getting smacked in the head over and over and OFTEN can really discourage a fighter. His workrate and fast hands speel doom for Casa and his toughness would keep him going.

Casa too old to keep up with Diaz' workrate...Diaz isn't a big puncher, but he keeps stopping guys left and right...he's becoming one of my favs to watch...

depends how he fights in his next fight...but to be honest he has been screwed arouhndn so much by king and the wbc i just want him to hurt don king and to prove people wrong.

This fight all depends on which Joel Casamayor shows up ..I like Juan Diaz by UD but with Joel you never know .
