It seems like everyone these days keeps making comebacks...Shannon Briggs announced his retirement after the Ibragimov fight, how long will it be until he is back in the ring?

I predict........1 year/1.5 years is about how long it'll take for his ego to need carressing, and it'll lure lure him back in the ring.

Until his first attempt at a comeback brings the humbling realization that the highest billing available to him at this stage is the undercard of a Morrison fight.

I'm thinking he'll stay retired for less than a year before he decides to make a freak show out of himself by entering the UFC or one of those MMA leagues.
If I'm not mistaken, Shannon has already done the MMA thing.
Unfortunately, if he runs out of cash we are destined to see him again.

Until he needs more, er, "juice" money.

Yeah and I'm sure Wlad's just chomping at the bit to make such a deal after the heaps of criticism over three (maybe four) consecutive no-hope challengers.

I see you've been watching the patterns in this sport quite carefully. NEVER bet against a comeback, and ALWAYS view these retirement announcement with great skepticism. Nine times out of ten they are temporary at best.:yep
