At least he has a positive record.
1 What a fucking joke the guy took a dive! Didn't want to be there, Solomon didn't even land a clean shot.

They should withold his purse.
This has been probably the worst card I've ever watched. Nievas has a bigger chance than all the underdogs bar McCracken did tonight.

At least he didn't die then.

That was a disgrace, but I can't really blame the guy. For a start, he's 40, and second, did you SEE him slipping around the ring? That canvas was like a sheet of ice for him. You can't fight when your feet are sliding out from under you every time you move because you didn't think about your boots before the fight.

yeah that's true. like fighting on roller blades. still at least get hit by a fucking punch before you lie down.
:yep
If you don't have confidence in your footing, you can't play any sport. I was waiting for a badly broken ankle or leg - the guy was 40, weighed a ton, didn't look too fast or co-ordinated, and was in there against a monster. I was waiting for him to eat a couple of big punches and take a bad fall.
But yeah, I agree, at least mentally pick up your balls, close your eyes and walk straight into one, even if you don't try to get up again.

What was with the slipping? They're all on the same surface and no one else was falling over. I still haven't seen Haumono do anything impressive because most of his opponents shit themselves. Is he actuallt good or not? How about Haumono v Tupou?

lol.
fair call of it blue.
where you from mate? dont post much in the aussie section?
did you like any of our fighters?
I'm from the states, I stumbled on the fight by complete fluke while bored. Didn't even know Mundine had a fight scheduled. I know of him but had never seen him before tonight. He is good, no question - but I can't cheer for him until I see him against a more skilled opponent.

I think Sol hit him with a short right...but I did look soft...Kavika fell over early and the ref had to help him up......Sol looked sharp with some good speed.

the funniest bit was when the guy was trying to take a dive the first time while the ref was calling it a slip :D
the big fella was hoping he would put a count on him and wave off the fight after the slip!
