I knew that frag wouldn't see 12 with diablo. Wlod looked too good in camp and was unlucky to not stop frag in the 1st fight. Now it's time
for a uni w/ huck!!

Was a good fight. I will say though, maybe it was the alcohol, but I was some what frustrated with Wlodarczyks hesitance to open up earlier. Great outcome, what I expected. First 3 rounds somewhat boring, but the rest was pretty exciting. Good job Włodarczyk!!

I haven't seen the whole fight, only the ko on youtube, but it sure looked like Fragomeni quit. Was he getting pounded in round 7? It looked like he was clear-headed and maybe could have gone on. Still, a good win for Wlod.

He did quit, but he had no chance of winning. I actually gave Fragomeni round 7 based on workrate, but Wlodarczyk landed the harder punches throughout, and Fragomeni winded himself pretty good throwing so much in Round 7. He was hopelessly behind on the cards after the knockdown, and he just doesn't have the power to dent Diablo's chin.

He looked far better than in 1st fight. After the 1st fight I thought that he is done, because of injuries and inactivity. Now it looks like he catched the second breath :good Diablo is the most powerful fighter in the CW division

I actually made a thread on the general forum about this earlier today..

I think he quit due to the open scoring, he knew he was way down and had no chance of winning.

In terms of raw power - certainly not. Wlodarczyk and Huck being champions today is a sign of the terrible state of the CW division.

If that's the case, that's another strike against open scoring. You have four rounds to go, keep fighting.

Who is more powerful CW today?

Agree. There arent any elite fighters at CW anymore (Adamek, Haye). There is only Cunningham who is at high level. And Cunningham actually beat both Diablo and Huck.

In terms of raw power Huck is stronger than Wlod imo. I'm not saying I would pick him if they fought though, it's pretty even for me.

It was a good win for Wlod no doubt, and he also should have gotten the first fight. But to put things into perspective - Fragomeni is a 40 year old euro-level guy with 10 Ko wins coming off a loss to a LHW, who isn't even the best in his division.

I donīt think the cw division is in bad shape. It lacks true elite/p4p fighters and flamboyant personalities but it is very deep on contender level, about 15-25 fighters on a very similar level. And they fight each other.
I take a division like that over a division like ww with p4p greats who avoid each other anyday.

Wlod is the only boxer who KOed Ismail Abdoul. I know that this boxer isnt anyhing special, but he fought some hard hitters: Wlodarczyk, Haye, Adamek, Maccarinelli, Huck and only 21-yo Wlodarczyk did it. Maybe Huck has the bigger raw power as you say, but Wlod throws more proper punches, so he better uses his power.

The CW division has some solid fighters, but it really lacks great fighters. IMO Cunningham beats now every other fighter in the division.
