It appears the pro bookies may have missed the featherweight misadventures and just gone by the results of the trilogy when handicapping this one. :yep

Why are there smaller odds for Marquez to stop Vazquez, than just win? I hope the bookies get cleaned up on that mistake

I love these odds...I'm not surprised where the money is going. If they're both shot to shit or at least severely faded I'd rather have my money on the more technical of the two than the pressure guy.

1000 on marquez. a little nervous about this bet.

Mixing a pressure fighter with a technical style is not an easy combo for punters. Especially these two. :nut

Excuse me, but MYOB please.

These were actually from oddschecker, which does accumulate odds from Vegas and other actual sportsbooks, not writers. It's my prerogative which of the several lines they offer that I choose to offer up here - not yours. I only use Houston's when the real bookies don't have action on a particular fight and it's creeping up on the night of.

Of course, the lines on oddschecker have since changed, as is apt to happen with live odds when the money shifts during the build-up week. Too fucking bad. I put the event up with the odds they had at the time that it went up. Those odds stick. That's how it works. You don't like it, save your vcash.

There has been a big swing in the odds the last few days, money has gone on Marquez. IB can't do anything about that...just be thankful if you're betting on him. Even if you're not maybe its an idea to bet Marquez at that value, the bookies aren't too often wrong.

Might lay down 1k on Rafa.

IB I was also going on the fight last night with JIHOO KIM vs AMETH DIAZ you had KIM -200
and every single book and vages had it -500 t0 -550 from the time the line opened to time it closed. I was just trying to help you out because I know you don't know much about odd's because you once ask me a few month's back how the mony line works if you rember because that's what I do for a living if you rember. I just beleave if you do something you do it right. Did not think you where going to get pissed off was just trying to help you not make an ass out of your self!

Who are the nutsacks betting on the Marquez stoppage?:huh

The odds for a Marquez win (of any description) are better.

jordan, I appreciate you trying to help but we get lots of those "you're doing it wrong" type of comments. We do this in our spare time, and do the best we can.

At the time I made the threads, it was a matter of either not making threads on the FNF card, or using Graham Houston's odds. Since it isn't real money and doesn't matter, I chose to go with his odds since none of the usual sources had anything published. It's rare that we do that. 90% of the time they are real odds. As TFFP said, they often change sometimes the week (or even day) of the fight. Vazquez opened as the betting favorite last week, and then late money came in on Rafa.

It is all good in the hood. :good
