No !
Absolutely yes. Not just as a result of better corner advice, but also the fact that he would have actually prepared for the fight.

must we revisit this? didnt the fight speak for itself? i think hamed could have had freddie roach, angelo dundee, muhammad (the prophet), and archie moore in his corner and lost.

No - if he prepared the same way he did with Stewart, it wouldn't have mattered. Even if he did train his ass off, I still think Barrera would have beaten him.

Hamed wasn't ready for a fighter of MAB's magnitude. He had the tools to beat Marco, he just got taken out of his game and didn't know how to win.

Maybe Barrera would done better with a different corner against Jones Jr...Jones Jr...Morales...Pacquiao...Marquez etc.

Better than with Manny Steward? No.
although steward is the better trainer of the two, ingle was much better for hamed than steward was.

yes, I'd still pick Barrera but Naz had lost the plot by the time he fought MAB, his already huge ego had ballooned out of control and he'd started only surrounding himself with yes men and TWO trainers !
if hamed had been focused like his earlier days he would have beaten him.

hamed never beats barrera, and i'm a big naz fan.

The only way hamed could have beaten barrera is if barrera had fought in his old style and come out to war with hamed, i have not doubts if he tried trading with hamed he would have been ko'ed. Unfortunately for naz, barrera knew this and changed his style and gave naz a boxing lesson.

That guy Suarez was a yes man. They let Naz get sloppy. He wasted his natural ability: a granite chin, speed, agility and destructive power.

I believe so, yes.
I'll also get shot down for this, but i believe Hamed has/had more potential than Barrera, just not the mental strength to prove it.

in a second fight maybe..but MAB figured him out too early..even with advices from his corner, he still would've lost.
