actually mate im IRISH so i wouldnt be the first to stick up for a brit in anything!! especially boxing,i however have seen every calzaghe fight since very early in his career and i know HOW GOOD he is!!....

Calzaghe is favourite 55-60% in my eyes... We do differ on one thing though. I'd MUCH perfer to see him knocked out than win easilly. :D

There's no way in hell Calzaghe will KO Kessler. Kessler is not the type of fighter that stands in front of his opponent and admires his work. Kessler won't stand in front of Calzaghe long enough to be hit with 3 and 4 hit combos. Calzaghe is not a 1 punch KO artist, and that's the only type of fighter that can KO Kessler. Calzaghe is gonna be eating jabs and straight rights all night long and will move safely out of the way before Calzaghe can get in too many shots.

Well said! I would add that Kessler should possibly be willing to trade a JC overhand right for one of his own straight rights. It'll increase his chances of taking JC out with a knock-out, which I unfortunately (depending on who the refs. are) think he might need due to the away-disadvantage. Also JC's right hand is not exactly dynamite IMO. :good

The reason I am curious about people who say Calzaghe easily beat Kessler, is because Kessler has had a great career with virtually flawless performances. He has faced some decent comp without a hitch so now hes going to just get destroyed??
