*HEAVYWEIGHT UNIFICATION!

FINALLY..... and yes... i would consider the winner of this to be eather above or right on m'man wlads level, actually... ok i would have him above. honestly... this is AWSOME news

*MAYWEATHER SHUTS UP EVERYONE BY TALKING ABOUT FIGHTING HATTON

sure.... hes talked like this before, but honestly.... i REALLY didnt think we would EVER see a cotto-hatton-mayweather (the three guys that have been on fire for the last years, and in the same weight ranges) and now that it looks like a fight between m'man hatton and mayweather MIGHT happen, i freakin APPLUAD mayweather... i honestly thought he would not take the fight, for whatever reason.

a fight between these two, and then with cotto.... has to happen. they are this generations top crop, rising stars and all undefeated.... they have to fight eachother imo for them to all REALLY get to the level they want to get at... win or lose. It would have been like (imo) if hearns, leanord, and hagler never had fought eachother... or tito, hoya, and vargas went their whole careers without fighting eachother.

im not comparing fighters or talent, but the fact that the top undefeated fighters in the same weight ranges hadnt fought eachother... just left something missing imo. good to see it finally might happen.

*Trinidad coming back!

i know some people may not be thrilled... but i am, i dont care what fight hes in... as long as its not against winky, i think its an exciting match up that he has a chance in. i would STILL want to see him against

Mosley
Hoya 2
Taylor
Ouma
Mayweather
Cotto
and what the hell.... roy jones jr... LOL!

i dont care... i think all are AWSOME matchups that would be exciting while they lasted....

anyways.... i got on boxing news sites and was just thrilled today...

Completely agree with everything you say in the Mayweather Hatton cotto section. Spot on - they need these fights, and they're the best of what feels like thir generation. Mosley ODLH and even Vargas just feel like a different era.

i know, but most of the time it's just boxers talking shit hoping one will back down so they can play the "he ducked me" card....this shit happened last year already....

I'm thinking the same thing will happen. Floyd probably sees a good payday with Hatton without too much risk, so the fight would be appealing for him. That said, I fully expect him to price himself out/make unreasonable demands, and the fight withers on the vine. Hope I'm wrong.

Kirk and Freddy are the best posters on ESB. Their enthusiasm for boxing and non-bias for fighters is great. Both men seem to be good guys away from boxing too.

Anyway, before some prick comes along with that arse kissing .gif, I'll get back on topic. I'm not that excited about the hatton news persoanlly. I honestly think Mayweather will force the fight not to happen by asking for too much money. The only way he can get that money is in the UK, which he won't do.

He'll probably fight someone like Mosley next year. Maybe go up in weight to fight Taylor, which I can definetly see happening, but I can't see him stepping into the ring against Hatton.

Hatton vs. Cotto will proabbly happen though. At a catch weight, 'cause I think Hatton he will get beaten at 147lbs. If Hatton wants to fight on for a few more years though, I'd expect him to have a few easy fights at 147lbs to settle at that weight before challenging Cotto.

I'd like to know how we are getting unification at HW???
At least Klitschko, Chagaev, Maskaev would have to fight down to 1, and Ibragimov is the BO CHAMP. Unification has always been BA, BC, BF but we could/should include the BO these day's. Klitschko is doing the right thing by righting a wrong against Brewster. As always the orgs and their corruptness are the constant threat against unification with their mis-mandatories.

The most AMAZING part of the week is PBF actually announcing INTENT/DESIRE for a fight with Hatton. Although, I cant get too giddy UNTIL IT"S SIGNED. Floyd also pulled this same stunt with a fella named Winky Wright:lol:

Trinidad??? Got tons of respect for Felix but honestly have little interest in any future fights. IMO, the only possibility of interest is a rematch with DLH. Trinidad is too far past his prime and been retired for too long to become a relevant CHAMP again. At least DLH could clear up perhaps the biggest question in his career.

Hey, gotta salute your effort and enthusiasm, takes a hardcore fan to find the week amazing as a whole:good
